WASHINGTON WAR OF WORDS - LEAVITT’S “DEPLORABLE” MOMENT
One could become numb to these kinds of rhetorical slights from people like Hillary Clinton (calling many Americans “deplorables”), Speaker Johnson, and Ms. Leavitt. But it’s worth remembering how easily they rely on character assassination and labels to shut down substantive debate and valid criticism. Here, as it was with Johnson last week, Leavitt claims that critics of Trump’s immigration police-state, of his support for genocide, and other policies are dangerous supporters of terrorism. The Daily Show did a good job citing the Trump/GOP for the double-standard. LINK

TRUMP - THE “BUILDER” - NOT
Trump is using “private donations” to rebuild the east wing of the White House, creating a giant ballroom. Hillary Clinton calls this YOUR house, exposing the fallacy of “ownership” in any political-collectivist system. Everyone-and-no-one owns it, and everyone argues over how it should be run, what it should look like and more. LINK

Mega-thanks to the live audience and all who arrive later to grab the news! Tonight, we hit on many big issues, including:

NO KINGS?
+The rallies across the US were immense, and the critics who complain that they “didn’t change anything” are a biiiiit premature, aren’t they? Additionally, critics who claim that the movement is artificial might have a point when looking at the “patientz zero” who came up with the idea, but those organizers appear to have very sincere concerns about Trump, and the millions who turned out did not all (or even in large part) turn out because of funds showered on them by George Soros. Yes, Soros’s Open Society is tied to funding for the movement, but the movement is valid, filled with sincere people, and their major concerns appear to be 1. Trump’s immigration police state-ism 2. The US support of the Israeli-committed genocide and 3. their desire for “economic” fairness (i.e., they want more redistribution of wealth, partially — correctly — citing the corporate-fascist nature of the stock market and many politically tied corporations, partially missing the ethical, constitutional, and economic points that any and all forms of government-conducted, non-consensual redistribution of wealth are immoral and economically disastrous, even as they skirt the US Constitution, itself. But, let’s look at more information…
+Background: The key initiators of the “No Kings” rally idea and movement include the progressive advocacy group Indivisible, co-founded in 2016 by the married couple Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg (who serve as co-executive directors).
Levin and Greenberg, former congressional staffers, gained prominence for creating the “Indivisible Guide” during the first Trump administration as a blueprint for grassroots resistance. They announced the initial “No Kings” day of action in May 2025, framing it as a nationwide defiance against authoritarianism, and have been central to its strategy, speaking at rallies and coordinating with partners like the 50501 Movement, American Opposition (founded by Carlos Álvarez-Aranyos), ACLU, American Federation of Teachers, and others. The couple’s personal and professional partnership has been highlighted in their activism, with Greenberg often discussing the protests’ logic and Levin delivering speeches emphasizing civic engagement. Indivisible has received major funding from Soros’s Open Society Foundations, including a $3 million grant in 2023 to support its organizing efforts, which powered the “No Kings” mobilization. As a recipient of these funds, Indivisible ties itself to other organizations that have received funds from Soros, one of which is the Poynter Institute, which not only is tied to Pierre Omidyar, but also has participated in massive propaganda campaigns against pro-liberty bloggers and organizations. In 2008, the Omidyar Network partnered with the Soros Economic Development Fund (an affiliate of the Open Society Foundations) and Google.org to launch an $18 million investment fund aimed at supporting small- and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries, with a focus on job creation and economic development, but their shuffling of funds for political purposes is very suspicious…
In 2017, the Omidyar Network and the Open Society Foundations jointly provided $1.3 million in grants to expand the Poynter Institute’s International Fact-Checking Network, which then was leveraged by politicians and pop media to attack pro-freedom speakers who were telling the truth about things like the bogus arguments behind “anthropogenic climate change” fearmongering and telling the truth about mRNA jab dangers. Poynter has targeted MRCTV, where I worked for eight years.
Pierre Omidyar has ties to the World Economic Forum (WEF). He attended the WEF’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, in January 2000, where he met with leaders from major foundations like the MacArthur and Rockefeller foundations to discuss philanthropic challenges. His philanthropic organizations, such as Omidyar Network (which he co-founded), are listed as partners on the WEF’s website, focusing on creating opportunities for low- and middle-income households. Similarly, Luminate Group—a spinoff from Omidyar Network funded by him—is also recognized as a philanthropic organization on the WEF site. Key personnel from his ventures have deeper involvements; for example, Paula Goldman, who served as Vice President and Global Lead for Tech and Society Solutions Lab at Omidyar Network, has a profile on the WEF website and contributed to initiatives like impact investing. Additionally, WEF has published articles highlighting Omidyar’s investments, such as his support for universal basic income experiments.
+This Congress critter claimed that the rallies had a lot of “antisemitic” people in them, because, of course, calling for peace for semitic Palestinians is ANTI-semitic, see? LINK
++At the DC rally, Media Benjamin, of Code Pink, ran into a woman who epitomizes the major problem at the heart of the movement. There are large numbers of the participants who believe that political “democracy” is laudable and is how the US works. Gang thuggery through the state is precisely how various groups have expanded state power — the very power these protesters apparently want to protest. ++It’s a vicious circle if they don’t acknowledge the limited powers of the US Constitution, and if they don’t dig deeper to see that all statist paradigms are predicated on coercion and theft. IMMIGRATION POLICE STATE
++ICE has increased its weapons purchases by 700%, including shoulder-mounted rocket launchers. LINK
++ICE in Chicago have adopted a tactic by which they have a driver approach someone, while the driver is “unmarked” in civilian clothes, then, the ICE goons in the other seats get out and they are labeled. How quaint. LINK
++The Trumpers are hiring more ICE-MEDICAL tax sponges to “care” for the people they kidnap — because 20 people have died in ICE custody so far under Trump, the highest in over a decade, and that doesn’t include the people ICE either killed outright or those who have died in foreign prisons, about which we might not hear. ++They care so much, they just sent this reporter to the hospital. LINK
**ICE just conducted another massive highway sweep, completely contrary to the 4th Amendment. LINK
**WHILE… ICE has been shown to have detained at least 170 Americans, and that doesn’t even cover the breaches of the 4th Amendment that led to searches, and it also only includes Americans. NO ONE should be detained by the feds in their immigration mania. LINK
**ICE released tear gas beside a school. LINK
**CBS has a good overview of the ICE violence. LINK
**AND, ”60 Minutes” just released interviews with multiple former US legal advisors, one, a former Trump Admin member who resigned when the Trump immigration gang intentionally misled a judge who had told the Trumpers NOT to fly immigration detainees out of the country in the middle of the night, NOT to trample the BILL OF RIGHTS. **The San Fran DA says she will not hesitate to bring charges of “excessive force” if she sees it, should Trump make “good” on his Friday-issued threat to invade the city with ICE and National Guard troops. She could go further to state that any such federal troops there to “police immigration” will be apprehended for breaching the US Constitution LINK
**The problems for local and state cops who might abide by federal commands that end up crushing civil liberties is a very big matter, as this report indicates. LINK

NO KINGS
If pictures are worth a thousand words, is video worth more? These shots and the comments of many on the ground have been powerful. The effect is more than emotional, more than passion-raising. It is fuel for political action that, sadly might be too late to draw back the power of the state and the scope of it in our lives. Many of the people protesting Trump did so to focus attention on the immigration crackdowns, but they did not discuss the US Constitution or provide wider acknowledgment of free association rights that should apply to every other facet of human interaction. These flaws leave the protesters open to future political institutions of various stripes either re-invading or expanding the invasions into private consensual affairs. Here are some video clips to see what things were like in Chicago and New York, and on Monday’s Liberty Conspiracy, we will play video from NYC that we’ve been recording today. That material, showing a left-leaning indy news reporter on the street, is a very good leap-point to see the vulnerabilities to statism (actually, not just vulnerabilities, since many of these folks in the video WANT the state to play “fairness decider”) and the assumptions they make regarding capitalism, which they take to be the economic system of the US today, when, in fact, FREE MARKET capitalism is not ours to enjoy, but, instead, the US operates under a collectivist-fascist, centrally planned system of regulations (i.e. diktats), central banking, and rent-seeking. Here is San Fran. Here is Philly. Nashville. Georgia. NYC. DC. Boston. And when the rally attendees finished and disbursed without causing damage or any other kind of ruckus, Mario Nawfal wondered if it was “suspicious", implying that their courtesy was a sign of an “astroturf” event backed by nefarious anti-US powers. And, of course, CT Senator Chris Murphy offered good words, but did now acknowledge that he was intimately involved with the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych, the elected President of Ukraine, in 2013-14 and openly associated with Olah Tyahnybok, the leader of the pro-Nazi Svodoba Party in Ukraine. This woman makes good, substantive, factual points about Trump actions. LINK
The Chicago Mayor might be better served if he cited his Constitution, rather than spouting about Democracy, but at least he and the IL Gov are, functionally, standing for federalism under the Founders’ paradigm. LINK
This post offers some skepticism about the spontaneous, grassroots origins of the protests. It’s unlikely that so many numerous rallies of such size do not contain mostly sincere participants, but one might want to read his comments to see what he thinks. LINK
Here, we see Bernie Sanders at a rally, pushing for higher taxes on the so-called “rich” - which is subjective, neglects the fact that the top 10% of earners in the US pay over 70% of the income taxes, and misses the points that: A. higher taxes on high earners means less money in the economy, more money in political hands (i.e. the “power” that, I thought, the leftists claim is too powerful right now) and less economic expansion to employ new people, and B. higher taxation is a disincentive against hard work. It’s also IMMORAL. Some might see this as the Bernie-types trying to ride piggy-back on the pro-immigration, anti-fascist-Trump tide, but, obviously, many who back the immigrants to live free from threats also back bigger government in the form of welfarism and things like dictatorial “minimum wage” diktats. The authoritarianism runs through their veins, feeding different outcomes. LINK

ICE-POLICE-STATE
Don Donaldo Trumpolisimo just asked the SCOTUS to lift a lower court block on him attempting a Nat Guard deployment in Chicago. As we discussed on Liberty Conspiracy, the Trump argument of trying to police immigration is refuted by the fact that the word is not in the US Constitution, and it was left to the states. He cannot simply invoke the “insurrection act”, because that act is a STATUTE, not an AMENDMENT to the Constitution, which, in Art 4 Sec 4, requires STATES to ASK for help from the feds before the feds enter. If Trump is claiming to “protect federal buildings” that is put into question by the fact that the Constitution only allows the feds to run three forms of land: 1. Territories, 2. a ten-sq-mile area for the national capitol, 3. Military Garrisons… SO, if the federal courts or other federal buildings are on non-federal land, and the buildings themselves can’t be owned by the feds, how can the feds claim the power to go into the states to protect the buildings? Those buildings either have to be rented from the states or private owners, or they have to be moved to one of those three land categories. LINK
Despite the awkward syntax of this article’s title, the meaning can be discerned, ICE broke in and traumatized a family in Portland. Despite the headline, it’s unlikely that they used the mother and infant to bust-in the door. LINK
Both of the BIG stories of ICE-chases-shootings are showing the ICE narratives being totally fabricated. LINK
ICE is ramping up its facial recognition contracts, unconstitutional surveillance, and more - with some corporate-crony favoritism to mix in with their thirst for technocracy! What joy! LINK!

The San Fran District Attorney will not hesitate to bring charges against ICE invaders, as Trump announced Friday that he is targeting that city next. LINK

WAR - TRUMP’S WARS - DELUSIONAL TRUMP STATEMENTS RE HIM “ENDING WARS”
Not only has he not ended any wars, his claims that he want to save lives are belied by his extrajudicial murders of 27 (and more, see below) people near Venezuela, his complicity in genocide in Gaza, his backdoor support for Ukraine, his attacks on Iran and Yemen, and more. LINK
VENEZUELA: Trump just killed more people, claiming they were smuggling drugs — this time in a sub. AND, people the Trump Admin captured on a previous confrontation/killing spree? He is repatriating them, rather than trying to prosecute them and show EVIDENCE, even of breaching their unconstitutional federal “drug statutes.” LINK

Let’s keep in mind, also, that the US “SouthCom” head resigned at the end of the week, over Trump’s extrajudicial murders in the Caribbean. He could have, and should have, resigned long ago, due to the US government’s spread of bases, occupation, backing of criminal regimes, and support for genocide. LINK
ISRAEL: Trump just admitted: A. He sees himself as a party to the IDF aggression in Gaza, and, B. Like Israeli goons and demons, he sees civilians as “terrorist Hamas,” who are okay to slaughter. In fact, that’s slightly different from the way the US and Israel treated the Hamas leadership, since the two governments gave Hamas tens of millions over the years, but the US has helped Israel block even WATER from getting to the population of Gaza. Not only is Trump trying to push more federal troops into states such as Oregon, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, and California to unconstitutionally “police immigration,” he is using the other big US weapon, MONEY (in this case, “anti-terror funds”, to threaten “blue” states that don’t comply. The GA-based reporter deported to el Salvador is talking about his situation, and it’s heartbreaking. LINK
ICE STILL claims that when it rammed a car, it was the opposite way ‘round, despite the video footage belying their claim. LINK

*Homeland INsecurity Lost in Court re withholding “emergency” funds from states if they don’t work with ICE. LINK
+ICE Goons in Chicago engaged in a high-speed chase, then used tear gas on civilians who gathered around to record their aggression when they crashed. Notice how the headline claims it was a “chase involving ICE” rather than ICE CHASING PEOPLE. Kind of like reporters and govt spokespeople claiming that there was an “officer-involved shooting” when a cop shoots someone. LINK
+A home-security cam in the area proves that ICE lied when they claimed that their kidnap targets rammed their vehicle and fled. The ICE agents rammed the victim’s SUV. LINK
*ICE did not “rescue seven children from a Chicago warehouse.” LINK
*BUT, ICE did KIDNAP a 15 year-old US citizen and hold him for 5 hours. LINK
*ICE got Facebonk to remove a popular ANTI-ICE page, and, evidently, MAGA people who were upset by the 2017-2018 Facebook purge and by the Facebook censorship of skeptics of the COVID and jab narratives? Those folks are fine with this similar govt-pushed Facebook purge. LINK
