  • The Liberty Conspiracy Audio Pod, for 3-25-26!

    Greetings, fellow Conspirators!

Big thanks to everyone who got to join us, live, tonight! It was excellent to touch-base with the Conspiracy to discuss the latest developments in the US-Israeli aggression against Iran, and to look at the deceptions of Trump as his gang prepares to further destabilize the world, wipe out economic systems, and impoverish millions. Pray that he stands down, but he likely is set on his bloodthirsty course to send more US troops, w/o any Declaration of War, to the Persian Gulf, a place they cannot control. Thanks, also to the fine journalists whose work we got to cover! - Check them out if you haven't followed them, and join us, m-f 6 PM on Rumble, or X “AT” gardgoldsmith! Here are some of the major stories we covered tonight, before checking out information about, and a story by, Karl Edward Wagner!

    WARIRAN

CNN reports that Trump’s claims to be “negotiating” with Iran (obviously false) and the “fifteen point” proposal Trump is pushing are ruses, cover, for Trump to build up US forces in an attempt to take Kharg Island. Utter folly, if true. He not only is engaging in immoral aggression, he likely is delaying, pretending to be interested in peace, as he has done over and over, in order to better prepare for attack.

Here is the Iranian response to Trump’s “fifteen point” plan, and, beneath it in the thread, the Trump “plan” (otherwise known as DEMANDS made by a thug).

    - Note, of course, that the Iranians would not have needed to post this in response to the Trumpers posting their “demands” if the two groups were “negotiating” with each other. Trump’s continued focus on short-term PR and constant spin is losing any strength it once had to fool people.

-Antiwar reports that the Iranians have rejected Trump’s absurd “proposal” HEADLINE “Iran Rejects US Proposal To End War, Lays Out Its Own Conditions: Iranian Media - News From Antiwar.com” LINK
-Nany Mace looks like she’s opposed, but…

Yeah, here’s reality from the past…

While the DOD wants more $$…. Of course, as we know…

But at least some people close to Trump made a lot of money off the puts and calls on Monday morning.

-And the EU Defense Commissioner understands how much the US and Israel are wasting in their Quixotic (and mass-murdering) attack on Iran.

Cato’s Lincicome quotes a Bloomberg Opinion writer, and exposes his absurd line of thinking.

The idea of sending Marines to take Kharg Island is insane and immoral.

Let’s recall that the US never abided by the JCPOA, but Iran DID, and one of the few things that the US under Obama DID do as part of the JCPOA was unlock SOME of the tens of billions of $ of Iranian funds that the US was holding in escrow in foreign banks. MAGA folks derided Obama for sending back some of that cash, but, it belonged to Iranian people, and Glenn Greenwald here makes another valid contemporary point about the MAGA anger, even as they continue to blindly support Trump and show their hypocrisy.

-Here are Ron Paul and Daniel McAdams on that. LINK And here is Dave DeCamp of AntiWar on it

And as Trump’s folly strangles energy worldwide, the Brits and Europeans already are hurting. Here is Ian Proud, with Andrew Napolitano, on that

    IMMIGRATION POLICE STATE

This is a big win for thousands of people. Headline: “US judge blocks Trump administration from detaining thousands of refugees” LINK
A federal judge in Boston temporarily blocked a new Trump administration policy on March 23, 2026, that would have allowed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to arrest and detain thousands of lawfully admitted refugees who hadn’t yet obtained green cards (lawful permanent resident status) after one year in the U.S.
The ruling came from U.S. District Judge Richard G. Stearns (or Richard Stearns) in the District of Massachusetts. It was issued at the request of six refugees (from countries including Rwanda, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Sudan) plus two refugee advocacy groups. The judge found that the plaintiffs were likely to succeed on the merits of their claims and would suffer irreparable harm without the block. The Trump administration did not file opposition to the request for a preliminary injunction, so the policy is on hold nationwide while the full lawsuit proceeds. This stems from a DHS memo (part of what’s called “Operation PARRIS”) issued earlier in 2026. It targeted refugees who were legally resettled through the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program but hadn’t adjusted their status to green-card holders within the usual one-year window. Historically, these refugees weren’t subject to detention solely for that reason— they had been vetted extensively before arrival and were on a clear path to permanent residency. The new policy treated the delay as grounds for arrest and potential detention, which plaintiffs called an unlawful shift from decades of practice and a misinterpretation of it. (Note: This is separate from—but related to—an earlier January/February 2026 case in Minnesota, where Judge John Tunheim issued a similar block limited to that state for about 5,600 refugees. The Boston ruling appears broader.) Refugee groups like HIAS (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society) hailed the decision as protecting tens of thousands of people who arrived legally and were already living and working in the U.S. Here is Reuters on it https://www.reuters.com/world/us-judge-blocks-trump-administration-detaining-thousands-refugees-2026-03-23/
    - And the US still is trying to persecute Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Headline: ‘Trump admin wants judge to lift block on deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia so it can send him to Africa” LINK
And then there is this: Headline - “A key immigration ruling is flying under the radar” LINK What is this one about, and is it tied to the earlier decision? Not tied, but important, none the less. refugee-specific detention case we’ve been discussing, involving HIAS-related groups as plaintiffs or amici. The “flying under the radar” ruling (your new MSN/Daily Caller link)

    • Court: U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

    • Date: Very recent (opinion issued around March 24, 2026 or shortly before).

    • Case: Buenrostro Mendez v. Bondi (or similar spelling; full citation often 25-20496).

    • What it does: It expands the definition of who qualifies as an “arriving alien” under immigration law. This makes it harder for certain noncitizens (especially those who entered illegally or without inspection) to use last-minute asylum claims as a tactic to stall or prevent deportation/removal.

    • Key point: It affects people in removal proceedings who try to file defensive asylum applications late in the process. The ruling broadens the category of “arriving aliens,” which has procedural consequences for bond, detention, and the ability to remain in the U.S. while claims are litigated. It’s being praised by enforcement advocates as closing a loophole that allowed delays.

      dailycaller.com

This is an appellate-level decision focused on asylum procedure and deportation enforcement for unlawfully present individuals — not on resettled refugees.

    WARIRAN

The Iranian government’s denial of Trump’s claim that the US was “negotiating” with them is holding up. Trump has offered no evidence of any negotiations, and the Iranians say they will continue to fight until the US-Zionist hegemony in the Middle East is defanged, reduced… Here is the latest, from RT. Headline: “Iranian military vows to fight US and Israel ‘until complete victory’ (PHOTOS, VIDEOS) — RT World News” LINK
-And this comports with the latest from Pakistan, where the US sent “envoys” who… were not met by any Iranian negotiators at all.

-And, yes, as Trump announced his stock-manipulating “delay” of a US attack on Iranian infrastructure and civilian life beyond the already vile attacks from the US, Israel filled the vile void, and ramped up attacks on civilian infrastructure. Here is AntiWar on it. Headline: “’Unprecedented’ US-Israeli Strikes Reported in Tehran Despite Trump’s Talk of Diplomacy - News From Antiwar.com” LINK
-And, of course, most of those Israeli bombs came from the US. Even on their “conventional arms transfer” level (which is unconstitutional during a time of non-war, and immoral on a deeper level of individual freedom) this is revelatory.

-The German President is telling the truth re the international agreements the US and Israel are breaking in their attack on Iran.

-From OMAN. “The man who oversaw the negotiations between the US and Iran into their final hours last month has now publicly declared that the Islamic Republic is not the one responsible for the war the US and Israel began on 28 February.” LINK
-As we last night noted on Liberty Conspiracy Live, SC Senator Lindsey Graham recklessly cited Iwo Jima as a template for his desire to use your tax cash and further enslave your kids to fund US troops being sent into an occupation of Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf. This not only is unconstitutional without a Declaration of War, it is immoral, breaches numerous international treaties re War Crimes, and would see those soldiers left in an unsupportable position, even if they made it to the island. Here are Daniel McAdams and Ron Paul on that. LINK
-And this fits right in with Lindsey’s madness.

-And Sen Scott shows us his propensity towards lying and fake-revisionist history by making the false claim that, as so many of his warmongering Zionist ilk claim, “Iran has been at war with ‘us’ for 47 years.”

-Plus Scott Jennings on CNN overtly lies, neglects to mention the US repeatedly deceiving Iranian negotiators and lying to Americans about an “Iranian nuclear weapons program” and more. To be willing to sit before cameras and others at a table and spout such falsehoods is indicative of a dangerous mind.

Mr. Jennings might want to recall this, just one memory he conveniently overlooks

-Meanwhile, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel will “continue to strike both in Iran and in Lebanon,” no matter what the U.S. does. And, yes, they did. Here is more on the attacks on Iran.

-And the US-tied economy will be hurt, more, every day. The nations that are not engaging in the aggression justifiably are getting passage through the Persian Gulf. Iran is in control and Trump has sparked a disaster for any nation allied with the US or Israel

-While the world watches the U.S. flounder over Iran, Israel has free rein to terrorize Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank. In Lebanon, the IDF has ordered the destruction of every bridge across the Litani River, presumably to prevent any return by the hundreds of thousands of people who are evacuating. Israel is claiming all the land up to the south bank of the river. That’s 1/3 of the country.

In Gaza, local media reports that the IDF tortured an 18-month old boy to terrorize his father, who remains in custody with about 14,000 others. They also set fire to a fishing boat and killed at least nine people over the Eid holiday.

In the West Bank, Israeli settlers (read: terrorists) are conducting a raid of arson attacks on homes and cars.

This video of Chip Roy is being described as him admitting that the SAVE Act will be used to exclude or discourage women from voting. But, in fact, he says in it that, despite his female staffer having to “go through hoops” to vote in her state where ID is required, the SAVE “doesn’t” stand in the way of women voting. That is in the eye of the beholder, of course, and the larger constitutional matter of the bill is what is the most problematic: it federalizes what the Constitution leaves to the states, which is the election process spelled out in Article Two for “chusing” their electors to engage in the Electoral College vote for Prez. Here is the clip, and you can assess it. One thing to recall is that this is predicated on worry that “foreigners” will meddle with the US vote, when voting ITSELF typically is a process of people voting to meddle with the lives of others. The hypocrisy is obvious.

    FREE SPEECH

GOP Senator from TN, Marsha Blackburn is leaving office soon, and likely will win t the race for TN governor. She recently introduced the “TRUMP AMERICA AI Act” (full formal title: The Republic Unifying Meritocratic Performance Advancing Machine Intelligence by Eliminating Regulatory Interstate Chaos Across American Industry Act). This is a nearly 300-page discussion draft she released on March 18, (updated from an earlier December 2025 version), and it aims to codify President Trump’s December 2025 executive order calling for a single national AI “rulebook” to preempt a “patchwork” of state AI laws, “unleash U.S. innovation in the global AI race” (especially vs. China), and protect the “4 Cs.”** Key provisions include:

    • A “duty of care” requiring AI developers and deployers to prevent “reasonably foreseeable harms” (with liability for “defective design,” “failure to warn,” etc.).

    • Incorporation of KOSA (child online safety), the NO FAKES Act (deepfakes/voice-likeness protections), and related bills.

    • Mandates for audits (e.g., bias/political viewpoint), transparency on AI’s job/infrastructure impacts, content provenance/watermarking standards, and age verification for AI chatbots (via the GUARD Act).

    • Explicit repeal (sunset) of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act two years after enactment—removing the longstanding immunity that shields online platforms from liability for user-generated content.

      btlaw.com

    • Partial federal preemption of some state AI rules, but with new federal causes of action enforceable by the FTC, DOJ, state AGs, and private litigants.

      blackburn.senate.gov

Blackburn and supporters (including some MAGA figures like Mike Davis and Steve Bannon) bill it as pro-innovation and protective.

    WARIRAN

As I noted on X, this is Trump lying, again. In other words: This is Trump. But it IS good news… If one compares Trump’s statements over the weekend with what he now claims re “negotiations”, one sees a problem with his timeline. If, as he now says, the Trumpers have been in “good negotiations” with the US over the past two days, then why did he issue an ultimatum yesterday, only to back down from it, this morning Either is lying now, and they have not been negotiating, or he yesterday issued his threat WHILE, as he says, there were “good talks” going on…
The Iranians repeatedly have said they are no longer interested in negotiating. They just issued a release saying that they are not involved in any talks. AND Trump is facing logistic and tactical hurdles that would make it impossible to hold Kharg Island, would see Iran respond to his escalation by destroying so much infrastructure in the Middle East in nations aiding the US that the entire area would become uninhabitable due to lack of water, and he will not admit that NATO nations are reluctant to help. His Marines won’t arrive close to the island and be ready to try to hit is until Friday, so he is faking it. He has to step back, or he will be widening the disaster. Here is more, from Iran. MORE, from the RT X:

I had the opportunity to record this, from the Sanchez Effect, on RT, this morning, as it streamed, live. We open with Trump claiming, again, that his gang of goons is negotiating (and has been since at least Saturday, which doesn’t comport with his threat, issued Sunday), and claiming that a US attack on Iranian infrastructure would be very costly for Iran. SO, EITHER WAY, he either is lying about negotiations or he is not, but STILL threatened massive civilian loss in Iran, stock-oil-stock chaos, and a wider escalation across the Middle East.

-The Trump Admin claims that they were speaking to the head of the Iranian Parliament. He denies this claim.

-Prof Mirandi denies that there are any “talks” going on.

More - observing the danger the other Persian Gulf nations felt due to Trump’s Sunday threat, and the possibility that Iran would respond to Trump by hitting Qatar’s, the UAE’s, Bahrain’s, and, possibly, Saudi desalinization plants and other infrastructure.

-Again, CT Senator Chris Murphy nails it

-As does this woman, from Chatham House

-Of course, Lindsay Graham likens the US attacking Kharg Island to Iwo Jima, where 25,000 US and Japanese died. Utterly contemptable, aggressive. Sick.

-The first of the responses we’d like to offer here…

-Will Maria B get tired of Trump lying to her? (Again, at least Trump is backing off for a few days)…

And it’s possible that Trump is using his rhetoric not only to give himself an out and not deploy the troops in a suicide mission, but also to give Israel cover to conduct more strikes, on civilian infrastructure, which they are starting right now.

@realDonaldTrump .\n\nTrump is losing control of Netanyahu—and the U.S.–Israel alliance is starting to fracture in real time.\n\nEND. \nTHIS.\nWAR.\nNOW. It also is possible that Trump knows that his words can make cronies very wealthy if they have insider knowledge tied to the US government, as we mentioned, above. Here is the chart...

Here are Daniel McAdams and Ron Paul discussing the bizarre, circus-performance flip of Trump, and, if you continue to watch from the point I’ve linked, you will see Daniel and Ron discuss the strange stock option move. LINK
Either way, Trump and co utterly dismiss the value of human life.
-The fuel crisis is the worst that the IEA head has seen.

-And yet, Bessent claims that - despite him trying to COLLAPSE the Iranian economy last month, now, it’s good to lift sanctions on Iranian fuel for 30 days, allowing sales without US aggressive threats against them, and that, in reality, this will contribute to the snow-white attempt to change the gub-ment of Iran. See? Totally consistent. Totally moral (wink)

-This conversation between Daniel Davis and Prof Seyed Mohammad Mirandi is essential. We enter on a moment when Prof Mirandi - who is in Iran, has been targeted by Israeli-tied forces to be kidnapped, possibly killed, and has separated from his family to keep them safe - notes that if Israel and the US engage in massive attacks on Iran, Iran will retaliate all over the Middle East, hitting nations that host US bases, of course, and this is a form of Mutually Assured Destruction. Then, watch as they dig into the insanity and evil of US Ambassador to the UN, Waltz

-And, if the Trumpers feel the negotiations are going so well, or, even if they feel they can easily destroy Iran, why does “Mr. Control Spending - NOT” Trump need another $200 Bil?

-This poliwag claims the spending to kill people overseas is “every penny, America First” — of course, he is highly funded by… AIPAC.

-And let’s keep in mind that, while Trump was in his “heightened threatener” phase, Mr. Waltz was at the UN, and he would NOT rule out that the US would strike Iranian nuclear power plants, likely causing terrible civilian casualties and radioactive fallout/steam to infect vast regions. Headline: “US envoy refuses to rule out strikes on Iranian nuclear power plant — RT World News” LINK
-And for those who think they can rope you in and force you to pay for their slaughter of foreigners around the globe… Here are regular folks in Iran, sounding alarm

THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ - MORE LIES FROM TRUMP ADMIN

First, let’s see how impossible it would be for two marine exp units to take and hold Kharg Island, or anything else in the Strait of Hormuz. This conversation, from CrossTalk, on RT, offers key insight on the logistics, and let’s remember all the small air drones, water vehicles, and rockets that Iran not only has, but can keep producing in their centers under ground.

-This, from Sunday, on Dialogue Works w Nima, is key info, via Stanislaw Krapivnik

-See how Energy Sec (how is that, in any way, in alignment with the US Constitution?) Chris Wright dodges about “negotiations” w Iran, then lays more lies as cover, depicting the region as unsafe prior to the US attacking Iran, when, in fact, if the US and Israel had not engaged in their years of aggression in the Middle East, they had utterly free passage for ships.

The US “PetroDollar” - v alternatives - As the US productivity dives and US govt debt grows, the US currency weakens. The question for the last two decades has been whether alternatives also are losing value (perhaps more rapidly) - such was and still is the case for the Euro and other state European currencies, but it is not for the nations tied to BRICS. Here is Jeffrey Sachs on that

-Is this a rhetorical set-up for Trump to be able to back down?

-And Trump claims that his magic “negotiations” are going to see the US and IRAN run the Strait of Hormuz? How about the Strait of Hormel, the beef company?

    TARIFF TERRORISM

As I noted in my non-fict book, “Live Free or Die”, tariffs not only raise the costs for civilian consumers to get and make what they want, and they not only syphon to government any saved capital that the consumer might have used to spend on a new venture or product, tariffs also drive up costs for the US military, even as pro-tariff folks claim that the US has to have tariffs up to insure that the US retains “essential industries”. Those “essential industries” also rely on tariffs, and if the US relies on domestic providers of things like steel, increasing costs for the US government, the US will have fewer ships, tanks, etc, with which to fight. Here is a segment from “60 Minutes” I got to record that digs into the matter.

Here is a link to more, from CBS’ “60 Minutes” (see their right-side video player) LINK
AND… Here is more detail. Scott Lincicome’s post estimates that U.S. tariffs on steel, aluminum, and copper add $1.8 billion annually to Department of Defense metals spending—19% above world-market prices—based on FY2025-26 procurement data and price differentials from sources like CSIS and Fastmarkets.

    • The chart breaks down costs across $9.4 billion in total metals outlays, with aluminum facing the highest premium at 62% ($0.91 billion), followed by copper (13%, $0.52 billion) and steel (2%, $0.49 billion), driven by DFARS rules mandating domestic sourcing.

    WARIRAN

As the US Congress and Senate continue to allow Trump to slaughter innocent people in numerous regions around the world — likely giving him another $200 BILLION in military spending, despite the feds being nearly $40 TRILLION in debt — Trump’s unwillingness to accept the economic consequences of his folly becomes more evident, and more dangerous. Here is his latest war-crime-threat. He tells Iran that if they don’t open the Strait of Hormuz, he will target MORE of their energy infrastructure. (PERHAPS THIS WILL INSPIRE A FEW IN DC TO CONSIDER THE 25TH AMENDMENT)

Trump not only contradicts his claim that it would be relatively safe to control the Strait of H, he amps up his threats of war crimes, crimes with negative consequences not only for the civilian population of Iran, but many other nations, including the US…

-Here is the Iranian response to Trump’s threat.

-Thus, the Iranian military just hit facilities tied to an Israeli nuclear “research” site. This site is widely known as being the above-ground location of the underground nuclear weapons cache operated by the Israeli government. Yes, the Negev Nuclear Research Center is the place, and the nukes are not leaking, but they aren’t ever open to inspection, in the first place, and the US won’t acknowledge that Israel has nuke weapons, because, if it did, and it was not open to inspections, US statute would not allow the US to hand it more weapons. But when did the US ever let statute or even Natural Law stop it’s parasitic warmongers?

Here is RT on the matter LINK
    -And more…

    Subscribe now

-If Trump moves on his threat, the world will be thrown into utter turmoil.

-Is this why Trump is doubling down on his threats against Iran, to insure that these other nations participate in the Strait of Hormuz?

    VIDEO QUICK-INPUT
-I want to give you THREE key segments I just got to record while they went live on Consortium News (YT Channel) with former CIA analyst Ray McGovern. First, on the matter of Trump’s ultra-disgraceful attack on Iran, and the ultra-backfire in its consequences for the world economy. Any sensible person knew this would happen, so is Trump engaging in this intentionally, for the end of wiping out the US and other national economies?

Leave it to war criminal and liar John Brennan to actually state the obvious on this inconsistency in the Trump Administration polices, as Trump simultaneously wages an undeclared war with Iran, after PLACING BLOCKS on Iranian trade to try to facilitate a coup there last month, to NOW, lifting for 30 days an embargo on Iranian oil.

-And here, we get some key reminders of three matters. One: The US thirst for overthrowing the Iranian government, going back decades. Two: Team Trump’s dismissal of truth. Three: Tulsi Gabbard’s embrace of that falsity, rather than the primacy of truth.

-And, one more from that excellent trio chatting Sat night, as they discuss what, perhaps, many of us worriedly have pondered, that Israel might use tactical nukes against Iran. One of the bleakest realities of Trump’s Operation Epic Folly is that, by initiating kinetic aggression against Iran on a wider scale than even last year’s unwarranted and immoral bombing, Trump has inspired Iran to respond with greater strength. This, in turn, is revealing to the Iranians that it would be wise to have a nuclear weapon as a deterrent, and this, in turn, likely is inspiring the Israelis to get closer to full-blown nuclear attack on Iran in order to stop that coming, after Iran wins the immediate war. Iran can survive this US-Israeli aggression now, but the fact that it can and will survive will inspire the Israelis to ramp up the attack in the end, perhaps going nuclear. Just criminal, evil, Trump and Netanyahu.

    Here is what looms, economically.

UK’S DIEGO GARCIA ISLAND FACILITY TARGETED BY MISSILES - NO CONFIRMED HIT, CONFUSION RE SOURCE OF ARMS

Yes. Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi warned the UK that its bases being used to facilitate US attacks meant they were valid targets.

Saturday saw a rocket attack on Diego Garcia that missed, per UK confirmations.

And, for a few hours Saturday, the statements on an Iranian television net were construed as meaning the Iranian military had fired the rockets. Note this, which makes one wonder if this was a warning from Iran, a false flag…?

-This spells out the current situation.

@michaeljswalker on Friday, I said that Trump was being presented options to strike civilian infrastructure in Iran. The aim would be to cripple Iran’s economy and to make it harder for Iran to persist in the war.\n\nI explained that hitting Iran’s critical ","username":"yarbatman","name":"Esfandyar Batmanghelidj","profile_image_url":"https://pbs.substack.com/profile_images/1428730841891590148/ekMbDMja_normal.jpg","date":"2026-03-22T08:47:56.000Z","photos":[{"img_url":"https://pbs.substack.com/media/HEALbfGWUAAGXod.jpg","link_url":"https://t.co/ieZM6ZurLN"}],"quoted_tweet":{},"reply_count":153,"retweet_count":1415,"like_count":5039,"impression_count":288996,"expanded_url":null,"video_url":null,"belowTheFold":true}" data-component-name="Twitter2ToDOM">

    ROBERT MUELLER IS DEAD

One does not defend Donald Trump by pointing out that Mueller worked hand-in-hand with Clintonista and DNC, CIA, Atlantic Council, and others to depict Donald Trump as a puppet of Russia, when that was completely unwarranted, and ended up pushing Trump to toe the line and help Ukraine, to see Trump break the Intermediate Rage Nuclear Forces treaty, and more. Aaron Mate offers valuable thoughts.

Meanwhile, Trump shows his typical lack of class.

TRUMP CLAIMS THAT CRITICS OF LEVIN ARE NOT WANTED AS MAGA

No kidding, Donald. Your Zionist circle is obvious.

More, since, of course, Levin used to be very anti-Trump, until Trump showed he was a Zionist horse of a different color.

Here are two people who don’t get to the philosophical heart of the term “right”. No state has rights. Only people have rights. States exist by coercion, extortion, theft, and threat, contrary to rights. Whatever label one puts on the brand of state, it is not a human individual, and has no right. Secondary to that is the question of property rights and to whom those belonged when the UK colonial powers, together with the UN and US, established the state of Israel on land that eastern European Zionists already had stolen in the preceding two decades, taking it from the local Palestinians.

BROADER US MILITARY DOMINANCE IN DC - JOURNALISM - PENTAGON

This is a positive development. Headline: “Federal judge strikes down restrictive Pentagon press policy” LINK

IMMIGRATION POLICE STATE - DHS - TSA - FEDERAL BUDGET FIGHT

The lack of any constitutional tethers leads to this. The Dems are looking to fund DHS without funding ICE. Headline: “Senate Democrats pursue DHS funding that excludes ICE | Watch” LINK

And, while Trump pushes to slide ICE into airports (thus, allowing him to hire even more ICE agents, claiming they are “civil” authorities, and skirting the 4th Amendment by pretending an “Executive Branch” paradigm of unending “Administrative Warrants” allows them to conduct their illegal searches), Elon Musk floats the idea of funding TSA, himself, while the budget charade continues. Headline “Musk offers to pay TSA salaries, as Trump floats ICE at airports” LINK

And I would like to remind everyone of this factor weighing down the economy. Not only does the federal government have no power over immigration, it has no power over “licensing” of people to drive trucks. Yet, 200,000 foreign truckers no longer will be delivering goods for consumers. Headline: “200,000 immigrant truck drivers are officially losing their CDLs which will almost certainly make everything even more expensive” LINK

FREEDOM OF SPEECH - FIRST AMENDMENT - SUPREME COURT

This is a good learning opportunity to recall that local and state speech matters are not tied to the US First Amendment, but fall under the purview of the state constitution where the controversy occurs. Headline: “Supreme Court revives First Amendment lawsuit from street preacher who called concertgoers 'sissies'“ LINK

FINISHING WITH THIS, A REBUKE OF A HUCKABEE

Hey, thank goodness for private property. Of course, if one were to accept all the absurd federal and state attacks on private property rights and against the right of exclusion that is part of the system… if one were to accept all the court attacks such as “Marsh v Alabama” from 1946, one might think that the proprietor would have to open his doors to her. He does not have to do that, of course. Headline: “Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders says Arkansas restaurant told her to leave” LINK

    NOW! VIDEOS!

Here is the entire Consortium News video from which we grabbed those segments!

AND THIS - This Middle East Eye video, on the terrorist-backed establishment of the Israeli state and of the IDF, is excellent. I hope you get to watch it, and you might want to watch numerous times. It’s an outstanding history lesson.

FINALLY - THIS, to cover the breaking news of Trump’s ultimatum-threat against Iran.

-And one more, brief bit, thanks to Prof Mirandi.

FINAL COMMENT - This, from DropSite, spells out the areas in the Middle East that could go down if the US and Israel continue to attack Iranian civilian infrastructure.

Pray for sense to enter Trump’s brain, somehow. That’s it for now. Thank you for believing in freedom!

-On the climate front, and mixed with even more deceptive political rhetoric, Fed Chair Jerome Powell just claimed that “AI data centers” are driving up electricity costs, and that such drivers are going to be pushing up “inflation”, but, first, inflation is the inflation of the money supply that sees the higher number of monetary units bid up prices and inspire moral hazards that, when consumers eventually pull back on spending, see a need for liquidation and a bust, but also, the claim re AI centers is being shown to be unsupported by evidence. WAR

-BREAKING: Pentagon leaks reveal that their argument for the attack on Iran was copied, almost verbatim, from Israeli think-tank (tied to Adelson’s and the Israeli government) docs.

-We this week got to note Hegseth’s hypocrisy when he verbally attacked the Iranian govt for spending money on weapons, even as Hegseth demands $200 BILLION more to kill more Iranians. Here is a reiteration of that, so it’s easy to remember.

Although this “press conference” appears to have been determine to be AI, the statements likely reflect Israeli plans and ideology.

-AI-Yahu also revealed an Israeli objective to become a transport field for Mid-East fuel. Netanyahu proposed rerouting Middle East oil and gas via pipelines across the Arabian Peninsula to Israeli Mediterranean ports (e.g., via Saudi/Jordan to Eilat/Ashkelon/Haifa), bypassing Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, and Bab el-Mandeb. This was framed as a post-war energy security shift.

Christian Zionists are upset that CBS’s Margaret Brennan reported on Pete Hegseth trying to invoke Jesus in his unconstitutional and immoral quest to kill Iranians via munitions bought with your money. Brennan simply reported facts. LINK
-Trump says the opening of the Strait of Hormuz is “relatively safe” for US sailors/marines. About as safe as the Constitution is around people like Trump

Buuut, even though Trump says the US has total control, that opening the Strait would be “relatively safe”, and he and his team tell us that prices for fuel aren’t really that bad, but, simultaneously, will only be bad for the blink of an eye, we see… The U.S. is considering or planning to temporarily lift or ease sanctions on a specific portion of Iranian oil exports—specifically, around 140 million barrels of Iranian crude oil that is already loaded and stranded on tankers at sea (often referred to as “on the water” or in floating storage). This move is not a broad or permanent removal of sanctions on Iranian fuel/energy exports overall. Instead, it’s a narrow, short-term measure aimed at increasing global oil supply and curbing surging energy prices amid the ongoing U.S.-Israel war with Iran, which has disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, damaged Gulf energy infrastructure, and driven crude prices sharply higher (e.g., Brent around $111+ per barrel in recent reports).Key details from statements and reports:

    • Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced this on March 19, 2026, during an interview on Fox Business, stating: “In the coming days, we may unsanction the Iranian oil that’s on the water. It’s about 140 million barrels.” He framed it as a tactical step to “use the Iranian barrels against the Iranians” by flooding the market temporarily (potentially for 10-14 days) to lower prices while military operations continue.

    WAR LEBANON

Not only is Israel continuing the genocide in Gaza, and united with the US to slaughter people in Iran, and seizing portions of the West Bank and Syria, the Israeli government just tried to assassinate Russia Today journalist Steve Sweeney, who has been doing an outstanding job reporting on the Israeli aggression in Lebanon. Here is the report, from RT. He literally was recording when the rocket hit appx 40 feet behind him. Will JD Vance get back on his fake “free speech” pony as he did in Europe last year, and denounce this attack on a journalist? How about denouncing ALL the attacks?

    IRAN

-Trump likely lies re Netanyahu attacking the South Pars oil-gas field. He claims that Netanyahu did it without Trump’s knowledge. That’s highly improbable.

The VP shows his dismissal of energy concerns, and lies re US energy, as well.

-Former Ambassador Chas Freeman observes the illegality of every nuance.

    Hegseth is a menace.

More people are discussing the facts that Iran was abiding by the JCPOA after the US never bothered to adhere, and that Kushner and Witkoff clearly lied to Americans about a “nuclear weapons threat” from Iran.

Hegseth is rattling his sabre even more, and Trump made similar claims about dominance. Yet Iran just shot down an f-35,

… and Hegseth can’t answer why he and Trump just requested an emergency supplemental $200 bil package to continue fighting Iran. What happened to their insane, “We won”?

-John Mearsheimer has something to say about the braggadocio and its dangers.

And this German manufacturer notes the impossibility for the US to sustain the war for months, in any way.

    US ECONOMY

    Price increases - massive.

    Jeffrey Tucker adds thoughts

And I want to be sure to note that the latest GDP data is the second estimate for Q4 2025 (October–December 2025), released on March 13, by the BEA.

    • Real GDP grew at an annualized rate of 0.7% in Q4 2025, revised down from the initial 1.4% estimate and much weaker than Q3 2025’s 4.4% growth.

    • This slowdown reflected drastic revisions to consumer spending, business investment, exports, and dollar liquidity that went abroad being sucked up by US bonds.

    • For full-year 2025, real GDP growth was around 2.2% (annual level change from 2024). THAT IS BELOW EVEN THEIR ANNUAL INFLATION ESTIMATE.

No Q1 2026 advance estimate is available yet (typically released late April). Nowcasts like the Atlanta Fed’s GDPNow (as of today) suggest Q1 2026 growth around 2.3%, but this is preliminary and subject to change. The sharp Q4 slowdown signals a cooling economy entering 2026.
And… The latest Employment Situation report, released March 6, covers February 2026.

    • Nonfarm payrolls declined by 92,000 jobs, far worse than expectations of around +50,000–60,000 and following a revised +126,000 gain in January.

    • This was the largest monthly drop in several months and widespread, with losses in health care (due to strike activity), information, federal government, and other sectors.

    • The unemployment rate rose slightly to 4.4% (from 4.3% in January).

    • This, atop a 770,000 APPX downward revision in employment counting from Jan 2025 to the open of Feb, 2026.

    TARIFF TERRORISM

    This is interesting…

    TRUMP V. MARKET INTEREST RATES

Curiously, Mr. Trump has no problem pushing us into higher expenditures for oil, foreign imports, and things associated with them, even as he works to inflate the money supply ever-more — but he does those things as he adopts the pretense of wanting to “help” consumers who might own and use credit cards. Trump’s desire to “cap” credit card rates not only is unconstitutional, it threatens a key voluntary option some people might choose over pay-day loans or black-market loans. The complicating factors of the credit card companies being given corporate status by the federal government, and, thus seeing their board members and owners shielded from asset liability should their corporations mess up and hurt people, and the fact that these credit card companies are usually tied to banks that are tied to the central banking system — those are problems, but if one looks at the issue of interest for loans as a unique matter of conversation, this piece helps one understand how important loaning for interest is.
