General Hospital fans are left speculating who the formidable mystery man pulling Britt Westbourne's strings might be. There is a possibility that a villain from the past has been resurrected. Britt, who should be dead, is residing in a plush resort in Croatia, known for its sinister scientific machinations. However, she is on a tight leash, forced to work in a lab to continue receiving her life-saving Huntington's drug. 

GH sees that Pascal (Marc Forget), manager of Five Poppies resort, is evidently a pawn in the grand scheme, answering to a higher authority. Other suspicious characters like Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are speculated to be working for this enigmatic boss. The situation has caught the attention of Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and the WSB due to the dangerous and illicit nature of the research being conducted on the ABC soap opera.

General Hospital sees rumors about casting have led to speculations that the mystery man could be a familiar face, perhaps even Britt's father, the infamous villain, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Other potential candidates speculated are Britt's half-brother Peter August (Wes Ramsey), or even her other brother, Nathan West (formerly Ryan Paevey). Considering the twisted branches of the Faison family tree and the fact that death is not a barrier in soap operas, it leaves the audience guessing who the big bad boss might be.
