At the end of the episode I get into a story I heard on the Huberman Lab podcast about how dopamine is actually connected to motivation and how to use it. Listen to that full episode on his show to get all the deep details on how to put this into practice.
Ok, getting back on track can be a difficult process sometimes. The way forward is by building momentum. Whether that's by starting with an extremely small task or picking the big kahuna.
Once you set out to change or work towards this task you've chosen you'll immediately start to take action on that and see some progress or results which will spur you to continue.
This is what will get the ball rolling for you and then you can use that momentum to continue growing and improving.

Ok I'm joking in the title, your goals are probably kickass but they may be missing an important aspect and there's most likely room for improvement.
If you haven't yet, head to the review section of this podcast and leave us a rating & review if you find value in the show!
Now that we have that taken care of, let's talk about setting better goals.
Or an important aspect of setting better goals; getting into the details of the smaller aspects of the processes required to achieve these goals.
Big magnificent outcomes don't happen by accident, they happen on. purpose. The processes you engage in and the actions you take each day are what gets you to the end goal.
Today I take you through the what and WHY of your goals, using the 5 why's exercise to nail it. Then we break down the difference between an outcome goal vs. a behavior goal.
This is the importance of nailing the process behind your big goal and the things you can control each day in order to get closer to the outcome goal.
Finally we dive into anticipating what the trade offs are that you're going to have to make in order to achieve these things. There is always sacrifice involved and things you'll have to give up in order to go where you want to go.
Now go out, set some even more kickass goals, and crush it from here on out.
Until next time, go get uncomfortable.

What's up my partner in crime on the get uncomfortable path!
Today's episode was inspired by a thought I had the other while I was out with the family and saw the sad state of affairs when it came to the parents I was watching with their families.
I made a post about this on my instagram
I hope this strikes a cord with you and lights a fire under your ass to get healthy.

What's going on beautiful people?!
Today I'm challenging you to do two things: 1. Take the time to write out a review for the show on apple podcasts or leave a rating on spotify if you gain value from the show &
2. Take a look in the mirror & assess whether you are an asset or liability to those around you who may depend on you.
I break down what a liability is vs. what an asset looks like and the ways I try to increase my value add to my team, my family and my community.
I hope you enjoyed the show, if you did please share it out for us with anyone you think would love the show!

Hello!
This is a quick Tuesday tune up all about how to stop compromising with yourself and why that's basically a super power once you realize where you're doing this at.
This is something that I have recently been examining in my own life and identifying areas I'm allowing myself to slip up.
I talk about what it means to compromise with yourself, the effect of that, what I don't mean b y stop compromising, the mindset you need to make it stop, and a protocol you can implement in your life to help build up the ability to avoid falling prey to this.
If you enjoy the show, please share it with someone for us or tag them in one of clips on social media.

This is a big one today friends!
I cover the top 4 principles I use to keep improving my life and the lives of those around me on a regular basis. The last one, connect, is such an important one for me.
The 4 Principles are:
1. Engage
2. Remove
3. Serve
4. Connect
These 4 principles have impacted my life in such a powerful way and I truly hope you glean some wisdom nuggets from this episode.
As always thank you so much for sharing this show with people you know will enjoy it, that helps us reach more and more people and I can't say thank you enough. (I know I say that every time but I MEAN it!)

We're back!!
If you love this episode leave us a rating and review on Apple podcasts or on spotify. Be sure to subscribe to the show and share it with someone in your life!
I took the month off of podcasting to be at home with my wife and kids as well as dive in on some projects I've been working on at Enlightened Athlete.
I mentioned in this episode some of the top cities where the show has been downloaded and if you're from one of them please shoot an email to [email protected] and once you get me your address I'll send you some free Get Uncomfortable Stickers.
I have been looking at the stats for the show and saw the majority of my audience is male and I have a message for the male audience. It's time to step up. It's time to set the standard.
No more bitch tits. No more guts. No more feeling apathetic and weak.
It's time to put the REAL work in and show those around us what a man who puts the work in mentally, emotionally, and physically can be.
Be an example of discipline, commitment, kindness, preparation, honesty and much more. Show people that surround you how possible it is.
