Giovanni Santostasi is an Italian Physicist and Chief Scientific Officer at Deepwave Technologies. I discovered his Reddit post “15 years of BTC Power Law” a few months ago, which was a follow-up to a post called “Bitcoin power law, over 10 years, all the way to Genesis Block.”, which he posted 5 years ago. I was instantly triggered because I had read about power laws before, and his username ‘Econophysicist1’ was even more intriguing. In the past months, his model blew up and got more attention on Bitcoin Twitter, so I thought it was time to dive into this super interesting, entertaining, and challenging subject.
