In this episode I talk about something that’s been on my mind for the last month or so after I tried on engagement rings for the first time...the idea that I need to “get in shape” for my wedding. I know I’m not the only who feels this way, so let’s talk about it!

In this episode, we're chatting about my top factors for being successful with fitness. I'm not talking about self discipline or consistency or workout structure, I'm talking about enjoyment, variety, and support. This is a great episode if you're looking to get started with exercise, get back into it after some time off, or if you feel like you're current routine is lacking in something.

On this episode, we chat about the importance of ditching tools, if that’s something you are ready to do… or just reframing the way we use them. I go on a bit of a tangent about the inaccuracies of BMI and why having goals related to weight loss might not be the best idea. I focus a lot on using fitness trackers, calorie trackers, meal plans, fitness plans, and the scale because I think those are some of the most heavily used diet industry products.
I also give a shout out to Intuitive Eating and encourage you all to check out https://www.intuitiveeating.org/ to learn more!
