We were due for another catch up with the Gnar Gnome and The Lawyer on how the summer is wrapping up and what we are looking forward to. I met Brian Fox when he was doing his stunt show at the Roswell bike festival and knew I had to have this guy on the podcast. I always knew he was a legend in the BMX scene but the dude has so much more than just X Games Medals and accolades. This dude loves all things bicycle and loaded up with stories. The Gnar Gnomies and Brethren went on an adventure in Western North Carolina. Day one was taking on the classic Tsali Trail system and day two was Fire Mountain in Cherokee, NC. Spoiler alert, the trails were awesome each in their own special, and unique ways. Tsali giving us some fast XC riding with epic views and Fire Mtn the Gnar enduro style riding. We got Angel on to share his story of bikes, running one of the most successful bike shops in GA, shutting it down after a long good run, taking time off and traveling the country, and then coming back in a different way to the GA bike scene. Great to be able to share a positive story of a bike shop that is actually coming back into the GA market rather than another one shutting down. We discuss how the look and feel of a bike shop is changing to stay alive and what he is doing to try to set himself up for success.

Marcus and I have been trading messages for awhile to connect over the podcast, but it is hard to do when he is either always behind an excavator, handlebars, or just on a trail in general.
