Born into a family that appeared to have it all, his life took a dramatic turn when his father was diagnosed as manic depressive. As a young boy, he watched his home life unravel, leaving him to grapple with fear, instability, and the absence of a strong father figure.

Amid the chaos, he found solace in the church. It was at the altar where he made a desperate plea: “God, would you be my father?” In that moment, God began to shape his life in ways he could have never imagined. Despite battling inner struggles, experimenting with drugs, and living a double life, his foundation in truth never wavered. One day, he made the decision to lay it all on the altar and fully commit to living for God.

His journey didn’t end there. Haunted by the fear of following in his father’s footsteps, he found himself on a different path—a path that led him to full-time ministry as an evangelist and later as a pastor in Yuma, AZ. Along the way, he learned the importance of grace, both for himself and for those he loves, as he navigated the challenges of fatherhood without having the example he longed for.
