She recounts how her family came to God when she was a young girl, but as a teenager, she drifted away from Him. At just 17, she entered into an unequally yoked marriage, a decision that shaped much of her journey. She opens up about the struggles she faced as a result, yet testifies to God’s never-ending mercy and unwavering faithfulness to her and her children.

She also shares how God gave her a second chance—leading her to marry the answer to her prayers, Dan Blankenship. Her passion for encouraging others to wait on God’s perfect will and not be distracted by worldly influences is evident throughout the conversation.
