This series follows Dracula from his origins in Eastern Europe to his battles with Van Helsing's descendants and beyond. Netflix's description reads: "The Count Dracula legend transforms with new tales that flesh out the vampire's gory crimes—and bring his vulnerability into the light."

There are three episodes in this particular series and was a group effort between BBC One and Netflix which aired over 3 days and I will say it was one of the most interesting takes on the Dracula mythology. I watched these three episodes not realizing that it was a mini-series and not an ongoing which they really could have done. It starts off pretty similar to all Dracula tales I have ever watched as he is pretty much the undead predator, we all remember but then this story takes a wild ass turn.

We had the drama of Sony and Disney arguing over the rights of Spider-man last year but after seeing this trailer it makes me think that it was all a ruse to get fans in an uproar and let me tell you why as well as give my impression of Morbius.

Jared Leto had his try at the Joker in the Suicide Squad yet I can say this teaser trailer looks better for him on this side of a Bat. The origin seems somewhat comic book accurate.  The faint hint at the connection to the MCU is not Michael Keaton at the end of the trailer but the picture of Spider-man with Murderer spray painted over it as a direct nod to Marvel Studios Spider-man Far From home ending.

Still my judgement is out on this film but the teaser trailer definitely has piqued my interest and even though this is the Living Vampire I hope it doesn’t suck…..

This trailer dropped this week and I want to explore and get your opinion on why Harley Quinn is so popular? From humble beginnings in Batman the Animated Series to comics to movies everyone loves Harley. I am talking about the trailer and a little bit more, hope this doesn’t come up short.

This movie as well as the comic books is taking a look at Harley’s growth as a character over the years, I talked about how great the animated series from DC Universe is.  I remember when the character was introduced on Batman the Animated series and her popularity blossomed but not like how it is today. Fast Forward a little bit and people were saying how they wanted relationships like Joker and Harley this was only because as her character grew in popularity, she had more appearances every time Batman’s iconic nemesis made an appearance, she was the perfect sidekick, but when does a sidekick grow into their own? Harley’s popularity as a standalone character started to grow and that demanded change in character portrayal.

Have you ever just wanted to watch some trippy stuff? I mean I am one of those people that grew up on the old animated Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Heavy Metal animated movie and shows on MTV like Aeon Flux. This brings me to an animated feature I found on Netflix while scanning called MFKZ.

Make no mistake this is 100% adult animation and warning if you let kids even sniff a piece of this you may need to check yourself.

So, we are going to do this again? I mean the teaser said the trailer was going to drop at 6 AM but it didn’t pop till 4 hours later OK they are going to keep with the push it back theme.

This trailer is actually better than the 1st one delivered back in 2017 which proves that someone watched the original cut of this movie and was like hell no we have to do something.

I posted two videos about this over the past two years now we will finally get the movie. I have noticed a couple of things I liked in this new trailer vs the 1st. As well as a couple of things that felt like nails on a chalk board.

Netflix is doubling down on original content and when you pay big money to Ryan Reynolds and Michael Bay you are guaranteed several things and it isn’t necessarily a great Oscar worthy story.

It’s not about how many things were wrong about this movie; it’s about managing expectations. I am not sure who greenlit this endeavor but I will have to say they wanted all the action none of the emotional connection to characters, and none of the plot building you would want in a movie.

This movie did not disappoint but it also didn’t blow me away. Where do we stand now that the Skywalker saga is done and the big reveals were made? We will discuss this completely and there will be spoilers. I gave you a week to watch this anyway you could now hold on to your seats and we will take this fight to the Dark Side one more time.

**Spoilers** - The final episode of the season is upon us as the year ends and i will tell you it did not dissapoint.  I have to say I just had fun watching this and that's what entertainment is all about.

I purposely waited to review this series because of all the buzz people were blowing my timeline up with on how great it was, how ground breaking and I will have to admit I wasn’t disappointed. All BS aside though, this series fleshes out the original comic book in ways I don’t think Alan Moore would be pleased with but in my humble opinion is better than anything he would have come up with.

Date night is always fun, I visit the Local Alamo Draft house Theater for a couple of reasons: #1 it is usually free of ghetto activities, #2 it was $8 movie night, who could pass up $8 movie night. Jumanji didn’t disappoint but neither did the audience and let me tell you why….
