In this the first of two Christmas episodes Steve sets the mood for his favorite holiday by sharing an essay titled Christmas Cookies from the book Gone To The Dogs – A Coon Hunter’s Journey.   The idea hinges upon how to show appreciation to those that make hound hunting possible for us throughout the year.

Things take on a more serious note as Steve discusses the changes hound people are seeing in institutions upon which they regularly depend and ponders the what-ifs should things change too much.   A must listen.
