An awesome flashback from Season 1, I had sat down with the Owner of Bonvoyage_Babes travel blog, Tatum Skipper. Tatum has amassed an impressive social media presence in a rather short amount of time, with over 30,000 Instagram followers and counting. She's still using her growing influence to make a positive difference in people's lives through travel, focusing on helping people overcome their greatest fears and challenges, she is changing the way we think of travel.
Tatum can be reached via Instagram: @bonvoyage_babes
Also, Tatum has a podcast titled, 20 Till Takeoff, where she chats with people who have overcome adversity and changed their lives through travel. Available on Apple, Google, Pandora, etc.
Flashback- This episode is also from season 1. Another of my favorites. I reached out across the pond to talk to Hannah Lemon. Hannah is a graduate of Saint Andrews University and works for Edinburgh University in the field of wildlife biology in the U.K. Our talk touched on areas from her current work in the field, to modern conservation efforts, to climate change. This episode wasn't very political in nature, but more based around science.
Flashback- Back in Season 1, I sat down with Tory Kern. She manages a youth street outreach team at House of Hope, a community development agency. Their focus is fighting homelessness in our communities and providing support to those currently experiencing homelessness or at risk of being homeless. Her team (HYPE) specializes in youths between the ages of 13 and 24.
Tory can be reached via email: [email protected]
She can also be reached over the phone: (401) 400-2188
If you are at risk of experiencing homelessness do not hesitate to reach out. She can be a valuable resource.
For the season 2 finale, I sat down with Brooke Young, a former news and sports broadcaster turned Speaking, Presentation and Visibility Consultant and Coach. We talk about the power of human connection and why developing excellent presentation and communication skills is so vitally important this day and age. We get into how one can begin to improve their communications skills and the psychology behind it all.
If interested in contacting Brooke for 1:1 consultancy or even more information about her upcoming program, Timid to Thought Leader, she can be reached via email at:

Thanks to all of you who made season 2 my best and most successful to date. New episodes coming in January.
Today's episode is the conclusion of the two-parter about what life is like on a naval submarine. This part of the conversation is more animated and anecdotal than part 1, which provided more of a general understanding of military and sub life. Next week's episode will be the Season 2 finale.
Now more than ever, it is important that we prepare ourselves for unforeseen dangers that could arise. That's where Tina Ginn comes in. She assists in preparing clients for unexpected emergencies, so their lives are impacted as little as possible. She is the developer of the 'Your Backup Plan' app and hosts a podcast by the same name. Also of note, the interview itself is from July.
The "Your Backup Plan" app is available at: www.yourbackupplan.ca

For today's episode, I wanted to take a moment and talk about some important stuff going on right now that affects all of us. I wanted to speak to this and present facts about these matters from the source and provide my observations from the perspective of an ordinary, concerned, American citizen.

For today's episode, I sat down with a couple old friends from the submarine I used to serve on. Our conversation provides some incite on life aboard a submarine and the routines we find ourselves a part of both in the military and after our return to civilian life.
For today's episode, I sat down with Tyler to talk about the full withdraw of troops from Afghanistan and the chaos that followed. How did this happen? And more importantly, what do we do now? Also, as it has been 20 years since 9/11, I want to acknowledge the tragic and senseless loss of life that day. It is not lost on me that 20 years later, this is what we're talking about.
My guest today was raised in a cult and is a survivor of sex trafficking. She later went undercover in the U.S. and around the world busting sex trafficking rings. She's done remarkable things, from writing federal legislation, to negotiating with warlords in foreign countries for children.
Her name is Amanda Catarzi and she has a remarkable story to tell.
If you or someone you know is a victim of sex trafficking call the National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1 (888) 373-7888
