Dr. Cheryl Pooler is a licensed clinical social worker and has more than 20 years of experience in community mental health as a therapist and psychosocial rehabilitation specialist for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Dr. David Pooler is a professor of social work at the Garland School where has been for the past 13 years. He works with people with complex trauma and is an EMDR trained therapist. In the second interview, Dr. David Holley discusses his new book, Changing Your Mind Without Losing Faith, written for people who are tempted to leave the church because the message they have been hearing has come to seem intellectually unacceptable, morally objectionable, or spiritually demeaning.
