South and Southeast Asian demand for grains and oilseeds is growing, and Australia is well placed as a key exporter. The rising demand is on the back of population growth, growing GDP per capita, and geographical proximity. Nonetheless, new trade dynamics and local agricultural policies create some challenges that need to be addressed.
