Grateful For These Fitness Apps

I’m recording this audio on March 18, 2020, and we are in the middle of the corona virus epidemic. And while many (or all of us) are anxious and scared, there are a lot of people and businesses pulling together, and doing what they can to help their tribe. Over the next few days, I want to highlight some of these.
Today I want to talk about fitness. Gyms all over the country are temporarily having to suspend operations due to the corona virus. However, it’s important to exercise to keep your immunity system strong. Fortunately, A handful of useful applications and services are going free for the coming weeks in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. These include at-home fitness applications, among others. Here are 3:
Downdog: Down Dog makes a handful of popular fitness services including apps for Yoga, HIIT, and more. To help people stay active and engaged during the coronavirus outbreak, Down Dog is making all of its apps — Yoga, Yoga for Beginners, HIIT, Barre, and 7 Minute Workout — free..
The apps will be free until April 1.
Planet Fitness
Planet Fitness is encouraging people to remain active at home during the coronavirus pandemic through a series of live workouts. The classes will be streamed live on Facebook every day starting today at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET. They’ll be free for everyone:
Exercise can reduce stress, help you stay healthy, and keep you feeling great. So, we’re offering FREE in-home workouts, live-streamed daily, for all Planet Fitness members and non-members alike. Workouts will be led by our trainers and surprise celebrity guests.
The Planet Fitness app also offers hundreds of workouts that can be done from anywhere. These workouts are free for members and non-members.
Peloton - Peloton is offering an extended 90-day free trial to its at-home workouts app during the coronavirus outbreak. The in-app workouts don’t require you own any Peloton equipment, and include yoga, HIIT, stretching, bootcamp and other categories.
There are plenty of options to exercise and stay fit while at home.
