Good evening. The following salad of words show that AI has a long way to go. AI has put together a ‘blog’ to go with this episode and I paste it here for your wry amusement 🤨😄
Have you ever pondered the whimsical adventures that a simple request for butter could spark? In tonight’s episode, we are swept away by the charming sounds of the Sherbourne Abbey Bells, setting the scene for an evening of literary delight with the beloved poems of A.A. Milne. While contemplating the timing of exploring "Under the Greenwood Tree," we find ourselves instead captivated by the royal simplicity in "The King's Breakfast" and the humorous journey for a perfect slice of bread. With a touch of nostalgia and a sprinkle of humor, this poem reminds us of the delight found in everyday simplicity.
As the bells continue their melodious practice, we plunge into the mischievous world of "Disobedience," where young James James Morrison Morrison embarks on an adventure filled with delightful whimsy and endearing lessons. His escapades with his mother offer not only laughter but also a gentle reminder of the timeless joys these tales bring. So, sit back, relax, and let the poetry of Milne whisk you away to a world where imagination reigns supreme and every word is a portal to laughter and nostalgia. This episode promises a cozy escape into the heart of storytelling, ideal for a tranquil evening at home.

Hello dear friends
Thank you so very much for joining me for this evening’s episode, from Chelsea in London, England, where all is dark, windy and wet. But - there is (must always be) a but - the days are getting longer; the male blackbirds 🐦⬛ have started their beautifully tuneful courting; the snow-drops are peeping up; and God is, perhaps, in His heaven. Peace can be found within and without, even if it’s not the most evident thing before you. Look past the dark, dirty, scary stuff to see what always lies beyond: birds, trees, grass, leaves, kind people, good deeds, love. We can’t hope to find any ‘answer’ to the human condition, but we can choose where to walk, where to look to how to act. A very restful Monday evening to you.

Good evening. How are you and how has your week been? Tonight’s episode includes earwigging a beautiful service of Epiphany at Chelsea Old Church, where Saint Thomas More and his family worshipped and was bombed almost to destruction during the Second World War.
