A new report has recommended that private healthcare should no longer take place in public hospitals, even if those hospitals are paid for the usage of their facilities. The move would cost €650m, deliver little to no improvements in access for public patients, and would really only benefit private hospitals. We ask why it's being considered at all.

Worcester sauce1 teasp. made English mustard (not essential)Put lamb in boiling water until it turns brown – a minute or so. Remove, drain and add all the ingredients. Cook in oven (160-170 degrees) for about 2-2 ½ hours. Check from time to time so that it doesn’t dry out. Serve with rice and a green salad. Doesn’t freeze well.
