  • Crazy For You (Audio Commentary)
It’s Halloween again, and as tradition would have it, the Taylors are hosting their annual costume party. Things are all spoofs and goofs until Tim receives a letter from an obsessed fan names Rose. Initially boastful of this, he then learns the dangers such a fan poses after Wilson suggests possible mental instability. This ignites Tim’s paranoia, as the messages from Rose increase in frequency and intent. With the claim that she’ll be at his party, Tim aptly freaks out.

Randy has been cruising the dark neon-lit streets of the internet in search of singles chatrooms, and has found a beau from St. Louis named Molly. Episode Synopsis:

Tim is being particularly boorish about Jill’s appearance, comparing her unfavorably to a picture of her from when she was younger. When Tim sees Jill playing with a bizarre Photoshop-style computer program that allows you to alter your appearance, he makes a big deal out of all the ways he’d like to improve Jill’s looks. Jill is predictably hurt by this, but it takes a conversation with Wilson for Tim to understand why he shouldn’t repeatedly trash talk his wife’s looks.

  • What You See Is What You Get
When Jill (Patricia Richardson) tells Tim (Tim Allen) a story about a woman who got extensive plastic surgery after her husband left her, she’s shocked at Tim’s callous reaction. Things don’t improve when she brings home a computer program that allows users to modify photographs of their bodies, which Tim promptly uses to blow up her breasts and shrink her waist. After a conversation with Wilson (Earl Hindman) about inner beauty, Tim makes amends by getting Jill a refurbished dining room table.
Meanwhile, Mark (Taran Noah Smith) repeatedly beats Brad (Zachary Ty Bryan) and Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas) at a variety of games.
