Yeehaw, Gutter Gang! The boys are back with a new episode full of hot takes and big scoops from the comic world. We're also joined by Asheville-based cartoonist Evan Salazar, creator of small press bangers like Rodeo, Being A Stray Has Calloused My Paws, and Wimp Digest. We talked about his development of Rodeo as a one-person anthology, his different approaches and techniques for storytelling, and why he started making comics in the first place. As usual, we also answer listener questions to dig further into his twisted mind, including Salazar's unwavering love of fast food and literature.
You can check out more of Evan's work at rodeocomics.com or follow him on Instagram @evan_saladbar.

His books include In Pieces: Someplace Which I Call Home and Pleading with Stars (AdHouse), as well as his ongoing lettering work on November (Image) in collaboration with Matt Fraction, Elsa Charretier, and Matt Hollingsworth. He shares his experiences developing his craft as a cartoonist as well as his love for painting and penchant for analog methods when making comics.
