Mike spent years chasing relief through alcohol, prescription opioids, methamphetamine, and anything that could numb the pain. What followed was prison, homelessness, broken relationships, and a life that seemed beyond repair.
While living on the streets of Tucson, Mike experienced moments he believes were deeply spiritual, including one encounter with a woman who told him she was the devil. Whether viewed through the lens of addiction, faith, or mental health, those experiences became part of a much larger journey toward recovery.
In this conversation, Mike opens up about childhood insecurity, prison, nearly robbing a convenience store out of desperation, rebuilding his relationship with his daughter, and discovering a peace he had spent decades searching for.
This is a story about addiction, homelessness, faith, redemption, and the belief that no one is beyond hope.
