Hate Watching with Dan and Tony

This movie wishes that is was Con Air. But it doesnt have the charm or absurdity or fun. Instead just a bunch of random stuff happens and it all adds up to nothing. But Travolta has a soul patch and Hugh Jackman is about to be a super star and Halle Berry looks great as always. So there are beautiful people, if only they were doing something interesting.

Katherine Heigl is in this movie. A good enough reason not to watch it. But we watched it because Tony hates this movie so much it makes his blood boil. It is a Rom Com that does little in the way of Rom or Com.

Before the big blockbuster animated Super Mario Brothers movie there was the OG Live Action Super Mario Bros movie. This one is a glorious mess. Way to many thread that don't add up to anything, odd visual choices, a complete lack of lore. But still an interesting artifact that has enough weirdness to it to not be the worst thing ever.

Well nothing much to see here. Robin Williams doing his thing from a John Hughes script that was a rework of the original Absent Minded Professor script. Highly forgettable from two people that changed comedy.

And we have lots of problems recording

This movie draws way too much hate for what it is. Its not great but there are a few bits that are fun. Thomas Hayden Church shows that he is a national treasure and Sandra Bullock does her best. But calling this one of the worst all time movies is a big stretch.

Hate Watching is the show that comes to the aid of any not so terrible movie.

Tony saw this movie as a child and many times dreamt that his life would be like this. Basically a little kid has the perfect time buying a bunch of stuff and falling in love with an adult woman. The only lessons he learns is that his only real friend is the chauffeur that he has hired. This movie wishes it was Ferris Bueller's Day off and it fails to get there.

Hate Watching is the show that gets angry at kids movies for being stupid.

This movie watched a bunch of 1980's movies and then built itself from their parts...badly. And the brain was very much abnormal. Ryan Reynolds is there playing the monster or maybe just playing himself getting ready to become the enjoyable mega-star that he is now. It is an interesting watch and free on youTube until someone notices.

Hate Watching is the show that replaces one brain with two brains.

Every once and a while we do a movie and it makes no sense. How is Halle in the movie? Why was this made? How did they think anyone would care? How could you make it less coherent? Why do the characters do the things they do?

The Movie is DARK TIDE and it is terrible.

Hate Watching is the show that will eventually do every Halle Berry movie.

Just like Water the plot is translucent, the characters are wishy washy and [insert third water joke here]. Strap in folks, it's a long one! We do our best to keep pace with Cameron himself.

Did anyone do the math on how many people it takes to get this many seventh sons of seventh sons? If so, I would love to see them show their work. It would be more interesting than the script for this pile of rubble. Stick with the book friends!
