On Saturday, August 27, podcast co-host Ben Hardy moderated a panel discussion on the Main Stage of the Hoot Musical Festival in upstate NY which included Will Padilla-Brown, Danny Parrott, Tom Cowan, Kelly Crine, and Covel McDermott. The panel was called "Healers & Growers" and focused on the intersections of food, medicine, health, and community.

In this episode we highlight some of the responses to the opening question concerning the challenges of applying the ancient bit of wisdom "let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food" in modern society.
