How do you navigate a relationship with someone who does not have your best interest at heart… a person you love but is incapable of loving you? How do you make sense of persistent, extreme, pervasive, treatment, when it’s coming from someone you’ve given your best to, but your best is never enough? If someone physically punches you, the physical effects are clear. On the other hand, when you’re in a relationship with someone who makes you constantly question your decisions, makes you feel like you’re losing your mind, and you feel like you were run over by a freight train, you might be in a narcissistic relationship. Today I’m joined by Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Ruth Ann Harpur, who specializes in relationships and issues of narcissism.
