Heart Catholic Women

This week’s discussion focuses on how God wants to work with us in our lives. Emma and Rosemary chat about three areas of life that can be hard to allow God in but they remind us that we have a loving, compassionate and merciful God who wants to partner with us.

God wants to partner with us in our lives. He wants to work with us not against us. He wants to be present with us in everything we do. In this message Rosemary encourages us to be open to allowing God to partner with us.

There are so many influences that we let into our lives. Some good and some not so good. Emma and Rosemary discuss the influences that they want to have in their lives and the things they are doing to allow God to have the number one influence.

We have so many influences in our lives – good and bad. Rosemary encourages us to have a good influence on those around us.

Rosemary and Emma chat about how being grateful changes their perspective on life and causes them to be more appreciative of what they have in life.

Rosemary encourages us to live a life of thanksgiving. Giving thanks to others shows love to them and causes you to appreciate life more.

Rosemary and Emma chat about what the joy of the Lord is and how that joy can overflow in our lives.

The joy of the Lord is my strength! Have you ever wondered where that phrase came from? Rosemary shares what she has discovered about the joy of the Lord. Be encouraged to live with joy this Easter and every day!

Rosemary and Emma discuss the challenges of living with your burdens and choosing to follow Christ. It’s not easy but it is what Jesus encourages us to do as a Christian. We can be assured that our faithful, merciful and loving God is with us at every moment.

We all have burdens which we live with. They are different for each one of us. As a Christian we are asked to take up our cross (these burdens) and to follow Jesus. What does this mean and how do we do that? Emma explores this topic by sharing some of her story and how God has used her burdens to draw her closer to Him.
