Bam Adebayo scored 27 points, Tyler Herro poured in 20 to go along with 7 assists, and the Heat used swarming team defense and deadly 3-point shooting to spoil Jimmy Butler’s return game with a 112-86 smackdown of the Golden State Warriors on Pat Riley Court in Miami.
 

Alec Burks added 18 for Miami, going 5-7 from 3. Herro was 4-4 from downtown, as Miami shot 68% from distance tonight.
 

The Heat’s swarming team defense held Butler, in his 1st game back in Miami since the trade last month, to just 11 points.
 

Jonathan Kuminga scored 15 for Golden State. Draymond Green scored just 3 points for the Warriors.
 

The Dubs were without Steph Curry for a 2nd straight game with a bruised pelvis.
 

Golden State never led for only the 5th time this season, and the Heat became the 2nd team this season to hold a 20-point lead on the Warriors in multiple games. The other is Cleveland.
 

Nikola Jovic- out for 16 games over the last four weeks with a broken shooting hand- could return at any time, but didn't play in this game.
 

Miami closes this homestand Thursday against Atlanta.
