SeaFM’s helping hand is to help Gold Coasters who are going through a hard time, where you can nominate yourself or someone you know. Today we have Sonia and Lou in the studio as Sonia nominated her friend Lou.

Lou has been going through an extremely tough time over the last 3 years, she has had 3 brain surgeries from melanomas and since her last surgery in April 2021 the cancer has come back in her jaw. Resulting in losing her bottom jaw and her teeth. She hasn’t been able to eat solid foods for the last 18 months and she has now lost feeling in her hands as well as her eyesight in her left eye.

Sonia says “Lou just needs some brightness in her life” that’s why she has nominated her for a Helping Hand.
