With the hustle and bustle of an age of technology, we can have a hard time dealing with the effects that it can have on our mental state.

Not only that, but even the Psalmist addresses this topic in Psalm 43:5, “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.”

With being in the health and wellness industry, I  talk to people constantly dealing with anxiety and depression. Did you know that God’s Word says that He will lead us through, that He will be there in those times, and that there’s an answer?

I’m so excited to kick off our theme for January which is really just each of us taking an episode and sharing the word that we have chosen to focus on in the year 2022. 

For me, these words or phrases are areas the LORD shows me need some improvement. I’ve had quite a few over the years…Embrace the Day. Discipline. Rest. Be humble. Invest. Wait.

This year has been no different. The last few months, I’ve noticed a noisiness in my mind. An unsettling in my spirit…becoming easily frustrated or agitated—mostly with things at work. As I’ve prayed about this and searched the Scriptures, one word has continually come to mind: QUIET.

I was reading through the Gospels when we chose the theme, "The Love of Jesus." Over and over again, I noticed that Jesus had compassion on the people. Let's take a look at five times when Jesus showed compassion during His earthly ministry and see what we can learn from our Savior, the greatest example of love.

Happy Thanksgiving friends!

In this episode, Hannah shares with us a testimony of how she learned what was truly important on the holidays at a young age.

She shares about finding contentment then with the little she had growing up and how it has followed her into her adult years.
Although the lesson of contentment can be learned it is often something that we have to strive for and pray to have. It certainly isn't a one-time lesson and done.
