It's episode 8, and this one is a barrel of fun! If you don't have a blast, then I don't even know! Just kidding of course, everyone has their own tastes and opinions, and we fully respect that, as well as the autonomy of every individual listener in every way. This is a cruel, cruel world, and we here strive to be beacons of life- hope, if you will- in these dark times. Anywho, here is a new episode of our podcast. We start things off by finally telling the story of the time Jack got so drunk he threw himself in the trash. Then, a trio of fun topics, from a classic feminist activist who inadvertently created a massively popular board game to further a political cause, an drunk oafish baseball player who was struck by lightning and kept playing, and the director who made one of the worst movies in history to win a bet.
Lizzie Magie- 28:27
Ray Caldwell- 46:37
Harold P. Warren- 1:10:10
It's lucky episode Number 7! Or the 7th circle of Hell! Just a joke, settle down! The fellas run through the pyscho news of the week (there was a lot of it!) then discuss guys across the entire spectrum of coolness: Alex kicks us off with a wrestler notorious for taking things to criminal levels in the ring, Jack discusses a doofus whose egregious lies about his video game prowess got him added to then banned from the Guinness Book of World Records, and finally Cody tells the story of the legendary black marshal, savant, and all-around cool guy who inspired multiple popular movie characters.
New Jack- 25:35
Todd Rogers- 1:03:06
Bass Reeves- 1:30:30
We're back, with improved audio! And just in time, because it's our most pyscho episode yet. The guys get things started by debating the most annoying "-gate" scandal and sharing stories about getting in fights at concerts. Then, Cody shares the story about a guy who was forced to marry a goat, Jack tells us about a teenager who won the lottery and started the worst wrestling promotion of all time, then Alex closes it out with an incredibly lame shock rocker who managed to get the best of Congress and stoke the flames of Kurt Cobain conspiracy theorists. This is one for the books.
Charles Thombe- 27:30
JV Rich- 44:54
Eldon "El Duce" Hoke- 1:11:06
Usually, the "boos" only come from our audience! But not this week, because it's Halloween! Or Hallowe'en, however you spell it! (Does anyone know what that weird alternate spelling is about?) The fellas celebrate the spookiest time of year by comparing their Halloween movie watchlists, wherein we learn the actual best scene in The Shining. Then, we have 3 creepy topics, from a mysterious letter-writing stalker who ruined the harmony of a wealthy neighborhood, an 18th century mad scientist who may have inspired one of the most iconic horror characters of all time, and a metal frontman whose love for carnage and mayhem unfortunately extended into the real world.
The Watcher- 17:56
Johann Conrad Dippel- 51:37
Varg Vikernes- 1:18:02
The crack of the bat. The roar of the crowd. The sizzle of hot dogs. A drunk divorced man puking in a crowded bathroom. These are just some of the sounds that make baseball so great. In this week's episode, we bring you something that sounds nearly as pleasant: the fellas talking about America's pastime in our very first themed episode. Alex discusses the 17 year old girl who struck out two of the greatest hitters of all time (or did she?), Cody regales us with tales of the questionable off-the-field antics of Pat Burrell, and Jack gives us an incredibly thorough breakdown of the infamous Disco Demolition Night- as well as the vengeful motives that gave rise to it.
Jackie Mitchell- 18:10
Pat Burrell- 56:20
Steve Dahl- 1:17:55
Perhaps our wildest week yet. The fellas discuss an Australian doctor who gave himself a terrible stomach illness to prove a point to his colleagues, a delightfully eccentric Japanese serial inventor, and a guy who may or may not have intentionally caused a massive river flood to maroon his wife on the other side. They also share their memories of 9/11, talk about Six Flags, and roast the lamest magician name of all time.
Barry Marshall- 22:55
Yoshiro Nakamatsu- 40:05
James Robert Scott- 1:10:40
What, you thought it was only going to be one episode?? Really??? Is that what you thought??? Are you outta your mind??? Anyway. Here's our second episode. In this one, we learn about the perverse genius of the "Nuclear Boy Scout" David Hahn, discuss the time that the city of Philadelphia booed Santa Claus, and hear some wonderful Bob Uecker tales.

Bob Uecker- 1:19:50
