Hidden In Plain Sight

On today's pod, J felt inspired to deliver a sermon on the JFK assassination, specifically focusing on the JFK Hit-List. Using Richard Belzer's "Hit List", we review the context for the JFK assassination and examine some of the more incredible cases related to witnesses dying in strange and mysterious circumstances. To understand our present craziness, we must look to our past craziness. Just try to avoid any deadly karate chops to the neck.

On today’s pod, we picked some of the best highlights from Tuesday’s insane presidential debate and give our analysis of two old men rambling and yelling at each other. What a great night for America! Finally, as J predicted months ago, Meghan Markle is reportedly considering a future run for president. Is this how America and England are finally reunited or just a new Netflix docuseries? Only time will tell.

On today’s pod, we review some of the election scenarios being proposed as the election nears including a few crazy ones from a recent article in The Atlantic. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to end well. Speaking of the elections, the first presidential debate is this week and it promises to be wildly entertaining. Will Joe Biden stay lucid through the debate? Will Donald Trump follow through on his demand for drug tests? Amy Coney Barrett was nominated for a position on the Supreme Court this weekend. What does this mean if the election goes to court? Will it even make it to court? Probably not, but it’s fun to dream. A newly released report links Hunter Biden to a “prostitution or human traffic ring” as well as receiving $3.5 million from the richest women in Russia.

On today’s pod, John rehashes an interesting encounter he had over the weekend. Let’s just say the thirst is getting real. A recent report revealed California is severely behind on the flood of unemployment claims due to a lack of money. Will the protests ramp up or die down now that the money’s gone? Spiritual Medium Sheilia Zilinsky says LeBron James is doing a spell and Illuminati incantation when he does his pre-game chalk toss. No word on if this bodes well for the Laker’s championship hopes.

On today’s pod, we pay our respects to the OG Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed this weekend. It was a crazy day on Twitter. We assess the implications of her death and how quickly Mitch McConnell will jam a new Supreme Court judge through. Joe Rogan’s is already spotting trouble at Spotify. Employees are now demanding creative control of all content including review before episodes are posted. Seems like this is going to be an ugly divorce.

On today’s pod, we discuss a NY Post article about Aria DiMezzo, a self-identified “transsexual Satanist anarchist,” that recently won the GOP nomination for sheriff in New Hampshire. This is why you always read the entire ballot. Speaking of Satan, we continue our study of the dark arts and review a few more spells from the Necronomicon. Finally, George Washington professor Jessica Krug made headlines after revealing she pretended to be a black woman for personal gain professionally and in academia. After resigning, the new Rachel Dolezal promptly cancelled herself in an act of social media seppuku. A brave woman indeed.

On today’s pod, we talk about Spotify’s shady signing deals for it’s exclusive podcasts. Now the employees want to join together to form a union. We give our thoughts on the recently released movie “Cuties” on Netflix and all the hysteria surrounding the controversial film including multiple politicians calling for an investigation into it. New records show more than 25 government-issued phones belonging to officials involved in the Mueller investigation were “accidentally” wiped. This is surely just an innocent mistake made by multiple government employees in a short time frame. Two police officers were shot Saturday in an apparent assassination attempt in Compton. Will LAPD blame this on gangs or will they try to put this on Black Lives Matter? They do love framing people!

On today’s pod, we go over the latest details regarding the shooting in Portland during a Trump rally. Alleged shooter Michael Reinoehl gave a seeming confession in a Vice interview and was then killed in a shootout with Federal agents. Did he shoot the first shot in the Civil War as he claimed? Seems like we’re gonna do this so let’s enjoy it.
