High Regard Show

In Episode 75 of the “High Regard Show,” “Shutterbug,” we chat with our resident photographer Lil Tyler Durden. She tells us what she's been up to, including her thoughts on photography vs. video, her college applications and her soon-to-be revealed interview with some publication called The New York Times. She also shares the proud tale of her very first black eye, a souvenir from her senior class trip in which a group of city kids went skiing in the country, which came with a sidecar of a mild concussion.

Speaking of ill health, Tom tells his harrowing tale of his recent battle with kidney stones, a side effect from bariatric surgery that you should definitely know about. At least he only says the word "stent" twice. (He says it A LOT more in real life, Nikki wants you to know).

In Episode 74 of the “High Regard Show,” “Scout Legion," we chat with Ninja, a member of NYC-based urban exploration collective Scout Legion. The teen tells us all about his adventures under — and way above — the city streets, that time he had a run-in with the subway system's dangerous third rail, meeting a tunnel dweller who asked if he came in peace and how what he's doing now will inform his life in the future.

In "Roly Poly Roarty," Tom discusses taking a major post-bariatric surgery step and donating most of his "before" clothes ... except, of course, for those damn way-too-big jeans of his, much to Nikki's ongoing chagrin.

In Episode 73 of the “High Regard Show,” “Cry Baby,” we chat with

comedian and new mom Jamie Aderski about her four-show run of “Cry

Baby: My (Reluctant) Journey Into Motherhood,” which kicks off on

Friday, Feb. 24 at the People’s Improv Theater in New York.

In her show (and our interview), Jamie gives a refreshingly

eye-opening look into the reality and truths of motherhood, the lies

she was told about it and how it’s not all Instagram-worthy. She’ll

tell you what to expect when you’re expecting and the good, the bad

and the poopy.

In “Roly Poly Roarty,” Tom talks about how his eating habits have

changed over the past few weeks, a weird pain he’s having and nursing

a warm smootie for hours at his desk.

In Episode 72 of the “High Regard Show,” “Sex, Love & Tasha Reign,” we chat with porn star Tasha Reign about love, sex, porn and piggies in honor of her favorite holiday, Valentine's Day.

You'll hear Tasha's thoughts on the best place to meet someone, what makes a perfect first date and first kiss, where she sees the adult industry going in the future and even her No. 1 oral tips. Plus, if you listen hard ... enough (he he), you can hear her two mini pigs, Harley and Quinn, make an appearance.

In this week’s “Roly Poly Roarty,” Nikki calls Tom out on the new bad habit of food shaming he's picked up since his bariatric surgery, plus he shares how different plane travel is now that he's lost more than 80 pounds.

In Episode 71 of the “High Regard Show,” “Taking Care of Business,” we talk about what to avoid and how to succeed in an office environment (at least that was the intent). But, we do come up with some good ideas along the way, though we'll let you listen to the show and decide for yourselves. We're not always model employees, but we are damn good at our jobs.

Red Bull Crashed Ice photos and video have be shared on our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr as the action happened in Saint Paul, Minnesota, over this past weekend, and be sure to check out our "Click Bait" gallery on Wednesday as well. Tom is hijacking it from Lil' Tyler Durden since she has been oh-so-busy with school, but maybe this will give her a kick in the ass to get started again ...

In this week’s “Roly Poly Roarty,” Nikki gives Tom two minutes to get through the segment, but he still finds a way to milk it for four minutes.

In Episode 70 of the “High Regard Show,” “Red Bull's Crashed Ice,” we chat with ice cross downhill racer Reed Whiting about the Red Bull Crashed Ice event taking place in St. Paul, Minnesota, Feb. 3-4, how he got into the extreme sport, his favorite course, worst injury and moonlighting as a turtle farmer (spoiler: they're food).

Tom and Nikki will be attending Crashed Ice in the (probably frozen) flesh, so be sure to keep your eye on our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr for all the insanity and hopefully more than a few hot toddies.

In this week's "Roly Poly Roarty," Tom talks about having the winter version of his summer cold derail his running and its affect on his mental health and also tries to get to the bottom of his chronic sleeplessness.

In Episode 69 of the “High Regard Show,” “Trumped in the A,” we talk Donald Trump and some of the "good" things that could come from his presidency. From the price of gold going up because he'll turn the White House as gaudy as his other homes to ESL teachers switching from Spanish to Russian, here's what you could look forward to over the next four years. We have a combined 20 of these, folks, so strap in!

In “Roly Poly Roarty,” Tom talks about a bridge blow job he saw while running and the pulled ass muscle he got in the process, but he never answers why he won't buy some new jeans.

In Episode 68 of the “High Regard Show,” “American C*nt,” we chat with comedian/writer Jena Friedman about the digital release of her first standup special, "American C*nt," which will fittingly be released on Inauguration Day. Jena talks about recording the show in a pre-election world that now seems so quaint, the differences between writing for Jon Stewart and David Letterman and we make her say something nice about Donald Trump.

We also play "What's Nikki's Tech Issue This Week?," while Tom goes off on one hell of a tangent about Kevin Costner and "The Postman." He also rants about the 5K Runner app and its lack of customer service now that's he's completed its challenges and talks about his '90s-inspired new wardrobe in "Roly Poly Roarty."

In Episode 67 of the “High Regard Show,” “Uninspired,” we talk to actor/writer/comedian Becky Yamamoto about season two of her acclaimed web series, "Uninspired," which premieres on Friday, Jan. 13. Becky tells us what it was like filming the first season, what the future holds for the series and what she would be doing if she wasn't a comedian. Funny how her and Tom have the same dream — could there be a partnership in their future?

There was also a long-winded story about inappropriate holiday party behavior and a behind-the-scenes look at Nikki's technology struggles, and her struggle is real, folks!

In “Roly Poly Roarty,” Tom discusses how his three-months post-op doctors visit went. Spoiler alert: It was way better than expected. We also talk about what's keeping the extra skin tight and the not-so-great customer service of the 5K runners app for iPhone and the Apple Watch. Boy, you guys let him down!

Also, we want to give a shoutout to the January installment of #PussyGrabsBack founder Amanda Duarte's "Dead Darlings" salon, which takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. at Judson Memorial Church at 65 Washington Square South in the Village. This month's theme is, fittingly, "Freedom," and Dylan Marron, Erin Gloria Ryan, Rick Herron and Molly Pope will highlight a piece of their work that died on the cutting room floor. Proceeds benefit the North Carolina NAACP.
