  • Neal Morse's Prog-ress - S2E57
In Episode 57 of the “High Regard Show,” “Neal Morse's Prog-ress,” we interview prog rocker Neal Morse about his namesake band's new album, "The Similitude of a Dream," which will be released Nov. 11 and is based on the 1678 book "Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan (not to be make mistaken with the time of Paul Bunyan). He also discusses his longtime collaboration with drummer Mike Portnoy and what he's listening to himself these days.
Plus, in "Roly Poly Roarty," Tom makes a pledge that if he's going to destroy his gastric sleeve it will be with a jar of hot fudge with a whipped cream chaser. (Not that Nikki will allow that, though.)

  • Blunt with Noah Gardenswartz - S2E56
In Episode 56 of the “High Regard Show,” “Blunt with Noah Gardenswartz," we talk the comedian about his debut comedy album, "Blunt," the difference between the comedy scenes in Atlanta and New York and the early days of his career when he used to wear a gold grill while performing in a taco restaurant.
In "Roly Poly Roarty," a miserable Tom talks about a diet misstep, cravings and the saving grace of Halo Top ice cream.

  • Pat Badger - S2E55
In Episode 55 of the “High Regard Show,” “Pat Badger Extreme Interview," Tom has a lengthy fanboy chat with Extreme bassist Pat Badger about "Pornograffitti Live 25/Metal Meltdown" concert film and CD, which was released Friday and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the band's definitive album, "Pornograffitti." They also talk about how Extreme is definitely "More Than Words," if we can expect new Extreme music (spoiler: YES) and Badger's stint as an alpaca farmer.
Yes, Nikki is very jealous to have missed this interview due to the fact that she's a working woman again, but she at least has "Roly Poly Roarty" this week, in which she talks about Tom's excessive food talk and his losing FORTY POUNDS since we started the segment last month.

  • Everything's OK - S2E54
In Episode 54 of the “High Regard Show,” “Everything's OK," we talk to Ace Salisbury, whose "post-apocalyptic cardboard punk" web series of the same name premiered at this year's Cannes.
The show follows Artemis, who searches for her long-lost father (with the help of the revived head of Orson Welles) in New York 10 years after fracking brought upon the apocalypse — and all the water's dried up. Ace tells us how he got Rob Crow of Pinback involved to do the incredibly fitting soundtrack and what he'd need to survive such a disaster.
In the new "Roly Poly Roarty," Tom gives us an update on how he's feeling and his thoughts going into last week's bariatric surgery (or at least what he can remember from all the dope he was on).
    Ace Salisbury interview: 09:47:30
    "Roly Poly Roarty" segment: 47:05:09

  • Hoots And Hellmouth - S2E53
In Episode 53 of the “High Regard Show,” “Hoots and Hellmouth,” we chat with Sean Hoots, vocalist and guitarist of Philadelphia-based band, Hoots and Hellmouth. We talked about the group's upcoming tour, which begins Friday, Oct. 5, the release of "In the Trees," its first album in five years, and how they prep for life on the road after a long break.
In "Roly Poly Roarty," Tom goes from hangry to very hangry as his long-time-coming surgery hangs in the balance due to a paper pusher's oversight — hopefully by the time this show is live, he'll still be doped up on morphine and dreaming of something that isn't liquid.

  • Brian Posehn - S1E52
In Episode 52 of the “High Regard Show,” “Brian Posehn,” we chat with, well, Brian Posehn! This true Renaissance man talks about his new comedy album, "Criminally Posehn," which is out now, as well as his comedic process, family life and what's next. Seriously, we are still recovering from our excitement of having Brian on the show — not bad for our one-year anniversary guest!
With one week from the big surgery date, we also have another installment of “Roly Poly Roarty,” and things are heating up … and not necessarily in a good way. Tom's surprised so many people who listen to this show are digging this segment, so he's starting to wonder if it is just because a lot of you have him in your dead pool?
Oh, and for your convenience, here's where you can find key points of the show. (Thanks to Lady Bunny's fans for giving us this idea!):

  • Lady Bunny - S1E51
In Episode 51 of the “High Regard Show,” “Lady Bunny,” we chat with incredible drag performer, writer, DJ and true Renaissance woman Lady Bunny about "Trans-jester," her one-woman show running through Oct. 1 at New York's iconic Stonewall Inn, the luxury today's word and PC police have, Caitlyn Jenner, Republicans and oh so much more! You'll laugh — and you might even learn a thing or two.
We also debut a brand-spanking-new show segment, "Roly Poly Roarty," which will follow Tom's weight-loss journey leading up to and following his upcoming bariatric surgery. He started his two-week liquid diet this week, so you can be sure tantrums were (and will be) a-plenty. We're going to put it all out there for you, the good, the bad — and the very, very hungry.
