NEW YORK, NY - In our latest Friends of the British Council Community Corner segment, we continue our "G's" trek, landing in Greenwich, CT after stops in Glendale, CO and Gaelic Park in NYC. Warranting our attention is the blossoming level of High School rugby being played in America, and you'd be hard-pressed to find two better representatives in Greenwich High's Cardinals and NYC's Xavier Knights. Host Matt McCarthy caught up with award-winning Greenwich Coach Joe "One Punch" Kelly, Xavier Coach Greg Norris and match official Greg Gilliam.
Topics include the more definable pathway for young players to good school programs, the national teams and professional rugby via Major League Rugby.
