This week is fully inspired by one of my favourite authors, Mel Robbins. An episode of her podcast discussed why having a circle that spends their time talking about other people is so detrimental to not only personal growth but our mental health. We have all been guilty of it, but ultimately gossiping comes from a place of deep insecurity, low self-esteem and a desire to belong somewhere. However, we need to take responsibility for how we discuss other people. And guess what? The research shows it only hurts our own mental health. Is that what you want to be? Where you want to focus your energy? I definitely don't. Listen to help identify gossip in daily life and how to stop getting caught up in it.
