The fresh, brand new year is a mere three days away! As they say, failing to prepare is preparing to fail. Preparing, planning and clarifying what you TRULY want to achieve sets up success much more easily for you. You deserve to invest time into yourself and your future. You can't daydream the life you want into existence. This time next year, you could be living the life you've always dreamed of. Nothing is too good for you. Listen to my intention and goal setting episode, where I talk through the domains of the Wheel of Life - which actually crosses over with clinical assessment tools! The biopsychosocial model used to assess overall health and wellbeing is used in medicine, but each aspect aligns with the Wheel of Life. What will your priority for 2024 be?

1/10 women and people who have periods have endometriosis. However, far less than this are actually given a diagnosis - in fact, there appears to be a barrier to timely diagnosis for many people with endo. This week, I discuss my own experience of surgery for endometriosis, how I got to that point and options that are available for those of us with endometriosis. I also share some tips that have really helped alleviate the symptoms I've had! My hot water bottle is my BEST friend. It's important to know that you're not alone in this journey and it's okay to find it difficult. Rest, give yourself lots of love and listen to your body. I hope this episode is helpful for my fellow endo sisters out there.

Often, the lines between self care, self love and self indulgence can be blurred. It's hard to know where one ends and the other begins. Ultimately, self indulgence is a distraction technique from true self care. It is passive and can be destructive, rather than productive. It's importance to recognise what self indulgence for you looks like in order to be mindful going forward. As humans, of course we indulge from time to time - life is too short not to! Where an issue arises is if self indulgence IS your self care. My form of self love used to be entirely indulgent in nature, however, knowledge is power. This one life is far too precious to waste by numbing ourselves out.

This week's episode is fully inspired by the book I'm currently reading: A Calm Christmas & A Happy New Year by Beth Kempton. It talks about embracing the month of December in a way that is aligned with what truly matters to you. Although it is seen as magical, lovely time - it can also be a challenging time for many, for a myriad of reasons. Taking the time to look after yourself is extra important this time of year. Listen to this week's episode to get tips on making the holidays as incredible as you can.

TW: this episode will discuss cancer.
This episode was one of the most rewarding, touching conversations I've had. I had the privilege of speaking to Nicole. Aged just 42, Nicole found herself diagnosed with cancer. Throughout the most difficult time in her life, she found beauty in the things she might have taken for granted. She discusses how she adopted a mindset of gratitude to get through this time in her life.

Let's be real, rejection hurts. It cuts deep at the time. However, looking at it as an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and reflect on what needs to change is an incredible way to shape your future.
Rejection is often seen as divine protection, because it leads to a better outcome down the line. It's hard to see when it's still raw, but you will be so thankful that you didn't get what you wanted at that time.
"Rejection is merely a redirection; a course correction to your destiny."

This week's episode covers the power of taking full responsibility for your life. Inspired by Jack Canfield's equation EVENT + REACTION = OUTCOME, we look at things we cannot change but things we absolutely DO have the power to take control of. Moving out of the victim mentality of life is pivotal to escaping an average, ordinary existence. What choice will you make today?
