The Tampa Bay Rays had a difficult time scoring runs in 2022. With that in mind, the coaching staff has decided to change the hitting approach for their position players by letting them focus on what are good pitches to swing at, what are good pitches to lay off from and which pitches they can do most damage. Their 2022 philosophy of focusing on mechanics has been scratched for this year. Will the change be noticeable?
