In today's episode, it felt close to home as I think it is so important to have conversations about trauma. Our special guest is Jeremy from Sacred_Saturn who is an Astrologist that uses a trauma-focused approach in his coaching to help his client uncover their past and to find their purpose. He shares with us how he quit his corporate job and his 4 step-approach in helping his clients uncover their trauma.

Welcome to Joeleneschoice Podcast where conversations will revolve around lifestyle and insightful perspective from people like you and I who have found a way of living that fits with their heart. I'm Joelene and I hope you enjoy the ride, lets go. I was going through a rough time regulating my emotions and my anxiety was getting to me to the point I couldn't actually function daily, I was letting my emotions get the better of me to the point I couldn't eat, sleep neither could I continue to do what I usually like to do eg. doodling on procreate and the list goes on. But reading Lost Connections by Johann Hari really helped me learn to find ways to regulate myself and to realise sometimes we've got to give back.
This book was recommended to me by Eugene Lim, founder of Rat2Riches check him out!

So I'm an introvert and growing up I had a hard time making friends and genuinely making connections with the people around me. It was only last year that I started realising there are healthy ways to build connections with friends, family or anyone in general. I hope this podcast would kind of give you a different perspective for those introverts out there. Alright follow me on instagram @joeleneschoice for more content! Cheers!
Hey guys! Thanks so much for listening and staying all the way to my 17th episode! Appreciate you guys love you! AHHH, I really wanted to do this episode where I wanted the audience to understand how to take a step back and not allowing your emotions to affect you negatively when you receive criticism. Hoping this would provide a different perspective and some tools to help you understand yourself better.

Hey guys, thanks so much for your dedication and sticking with me till episode 16. Appreciate it. I felt I needed to talk about re-meeting your authentic self because I think most of us may not be aware that sometimes we may think we know ourselves thoroughly but then an event or even a moment triggers us and we start to realise 'hey maybe there are parts of myself i've been rejecting this entire time' and most likely the change will cause us some form of pain. But thats okay and i hope this podcast episode will kind of either get you thinking or perhaps you might resonate with it on how you had changed over the course of growing up or even just the past year during the pandemic, you felt you have changed so much and are probably coming to terms with it. Alright, see you soon! Happy Monday!

Today's episode is super lighthearted and candid on all about living in New York, really enjoyed catching up with my friend Angela who literally uprooted her life in Singapore to live in New York. Takes guts and courage literally. She joins me here wholeheartedly as herself and that is one thing I learned after doing this episode with her is that we need more people like Angela who just is relentlessly unafraid to be herself regardless of external expectations or societal image.
I hope you enjoyed today's episode as much as I loved recording it, feel free to reach out and follow my instagram @joeleneschoice.

Hey guys, welcome back to Joeleneschoice podcast! I genuinely like this episode that Beldric and I recorded because not many of us have conversations about what happens after finding your purpose. We tend to think the main goal is finding your purpose but what happens when you found it, do you go all out or do you tiptop into the deep end?
I hope this podcast episode got you thinking or helped you sort out your thoughts too! Stay tune for upcoming episodes!
