Yes, we are such sexual beings, but at times our health intervenes. Let’s find out how to reclaim the erotic within us. Sexuality involves in giving and receiving sexual pleasure as well as reproduction.
When I speak of the erotic, I speak of it as an assertion of lifeforce, of that creative energy empowered, the knowledge and use of which we are now reclaiming in our dancing, our loving, our work, our lives.
This culture of ours associates sexuality with genitalia, even though this expression involves much more than that. We, as human beings, are the only primates whose sexual desires and functioning are not solely related to the reproductive cycle.
With high blood pressure medications, and also with other chronic disease medications, sex, and other healthy sensations disappear as part of the side effects of treatments, and also part of the stresses of daily life.
When health returns, normal organ functioning performs naturally returning healthy God given sensations.
Our sexual organs were created as the most pleasurable part of our body to give us pleasure. It is normal for us to have sex as it is for us to breathe or eat. So now with healthy bodies, awareness and clarity of mind what will be your new way of life.
Married couples have discovered there are many ways to make love other than the missionary position. Like..
- Turning the lights down low, enjoying a drink or nightcap - it can be water, juice of whatever is your perfect choice - and together watch a favorite show.
- Never going to sleep without saying "I love you"
- Telling each other how nice you look
- Creating a private language
- Picking up a magazine he'd like at the newsstand
- Renewing her books at the library
- Fixing each other a favorite meal
- Reading, talking, and laughing together in bed
- Or just being together connecting to each other
- Or just sitting together in comfortable silence
- Doing the crossword puzzle together
Sometimes sex is just sleeping well beside the person you love, and drinking coffee together. Today set the intention to support healing and unlocking your power.
