Hello, you’re listening to High Blood Pressure Wellness Lifestyle Podcast with Donna Williams. In today's fast-paced world, many people find it difficult to set aside time for themselves. With never-ending to-do lists, work deadlines, and family responsibilities, it's no wonder that self-care often takes a back seat. However, neglecting to prioritize your health and well-being can lead to burnout, stress, and even physical health problems.
How about deciding today to choose a specific day to start or prioritize your self-care and make note of how it is contributing to your overall health.
I’m Donna Williams, Certified Holistic Health Coach, owner and creator of info-on-high-blood-pressure.com a website that’s all about the healing of high blood pressure using therapeutic natural treatments to achieve your unique body’s ideal blood pressure numbers.
Within my women of color and diagnosed HBP community we achieve wellness through my alternative restorative therapeutic programs that will help you in taking mini steps that encourages and reinforce healthy living, awakens you to the powerful and natural healings within your body, and how we can bring it to life in all areas of your life.
Let’s gets started on today’s episode. Today’s episode is on Why Prioritizing Self-Care is Non-Negotiable And How It Contributes To Your Overall Health!
We are constantly bombarded by what’s expected of us, how we should look, the things to say, what we’re wearing and so much more. Solitude can be your freedom to seek and get to know what you believe and know to be your truth. Help you to become a better partner, friend, daughter, son, father and mother.
When you’re alone you get a break from the concept of yourself that people have placed upon you. You get the chance to go over your own thoughts and feelings.
It is the start of your awareness that leads to the need for your own self-care.
Sundays are the eve of a blank canvas -- a brand new week -- and paying extra attention to your well-being, so you walk into a new week well is a great practice to adopt. So, how can you fit some self-care into your Sundays?
This can fluctuate week by week, but the ultimate purpose is to feel rejuvenated --
