Aaaagh the love of food, colorful, delicious food, tastefully presented will never go away, at least for me. But incorporating small changes into our daily eating routine do translate into healthier weight for the body.
We all say and do this … when someone is sick, eat and you’ll get better. But you ever notice that when someone is truly sick, they have no appetite? Loss of appetite nearly always happens in severe sickness.
Mother Nature is and should always be our guide. The body naturally needs all her power for the work in restoring normal conditions and there is none to spare for the labor of digestion. Mother Nature is saying eat light when there is little, or no exercise being done.
Intuitive eating is almost like Mother Nature in its approach to food. It strongly emphasizes listening to your body. At its core, intuitive eating involves letting your innate hunger and satiety cues guide your food choices rather than strictly sticking to a restrictive diet regimen.
By tuning in to what your body craves and paying attention to how you feel after consuming different foods, you can clearly understand what nutrients your body needs to stay healthy, energetic, and well-nourished.
