I’ve held back from sharing my experience with neurodivergence, which I’ve had a hunch about for a long time, but today I’m opening up!
Today, I bring you alternative perspectives to not having a "typical" brain from my own experience, research, human design, and other coaches to empower you, focus on your strengths and create a lifestyle that supports your way of being, instead of shaming it. Because you do have superpowers as a neurodivergent!
Society uses a lot of shame and labels conditions such as ADHD as “bad” which comes from conformity and society wanting everyone to act the same.
We fit people into neat little boxes and then categorize them and expect everyone to follow a “specific” norm. And those who operate outside of the box or the norm are labeled as having a disorder.
In Human design, your unique differences that you are born with are celebrated, not condoned, and then utilized to best support YOU.
What could it actually mean if you have trouble concentrating or being motivated or you can't sit still or fall asleep at night or you keep changing career paths or you don’t feel like you fit in?
This is important feedback!
And they won't always just be physical factors, like low dopamine or nutrient deficiencies or heavy metals or wonky blood sugar for example, they can be really valuable messengers that are guiding us to our right path and way of operating in the world (which may not be "normal" aka the way society expects you to operate).
We dont all function the same way, think the same way, or show up the same way, nor should we!
And when we feel frustrated, apathetic, unmotivated, drained, etc this is often showing us where we are living out of alignment in our lives and not following our energetic blueprint, aka the way we function best.
Pay attention to what energizes you, what motivates you, what drives you.
What if YOUR way was correct FOR YOU?
Are you judging or resisting the way you are?
Are you letting it limit you?
How can you use it as your superpower instead?
Today I help you to think of your brain in a different way if you relate to the neurodivergent type, how you can support yourself for your unique energy and to show up as your best unique self in the world who needs YOUR authenticity.
