Homo Superior Podcast

The boys take on the interdimensionally good run of the Fantastic Four by Jonathan Hickman on the third issue of their series breaking down his work. The issues span Fantastic Four(1998) #570-588 and 600-611 and FF (2011) #1-23. There's the Council of Reeds, bug people, low rent villains, and some classic Hickman flairs.

The boys bring back Mutant Madness, but we let the listeners decide! There's also news about casting for Kraven, Jim O'Heir is getting into Star Wars, and Patrick Stewart is in Doctor Strange (and Ashley Olsen might be); there are also issues: X-men #9 and Devil's Reign: X-Men #2. They have a slight variation on Plug Me, Daddy but it's very slight.

The three caballeros wrap up BHM by highlighting Cuphead and DotA's leading voice actors, talk geopolitics and anti-vaxxers, discover Ant-man is turning 60, knock out X Deaths of Wolverine #3, and do a season 1 review of Peacemaker. Will Clarke live till the end of the podcast, you'll have to listen to find out!

Khelan and Adam spend time with writer and comic creator David M. Booher. We discuss all of his amazing series, including Canto, Killer Queens (nominated for a GLAAD award!), as well as his adaptations of Joe Hill's Rain and Firefly. We also learned why lawyering stinks and telling stories is much better, get into the Handyman universe, find out his favorite snack, and generally have a gay ole' time.

Creator Crush is an interview series where we chat with our favorite comic book creators, learning more about their work, their thoughts on the industry, and what makes them so darn special. You can always listen to our weekly episodes digesting the latest and greatest of nerdom news, along with X-tra issues for deep dives on the biggest MCU movies, TV, and comics.

The boys continue BHM celebrating Black Lady Sketch Show's emmy nom, take an extended stay at the trailer park with Super Bowl trailers of Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Moon Knight, and Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, get pissed about Amazon's fuckery with Comixology, and review X-Men #8, X Lives of Wolverine #3, Marvel Voices: Legacy #1, and Thor #22...FOR SCIENCE!

The boys talk Abbott Elementary for BHM (watch it!), do a flash review of Book of Boba Fett Season 1 (only watch episodes 5 & 6!), talk 2022 Oscar noms (watch most of them on streaming!), along with new news on Thunderbolts, Savage Avengers, and Secret Invasion, along with good news on Futurama's reboot. Also, we've got recap/reviews of Secret X-Men #1, X Deaths of Wolverine #2, and New Mutants #24.

The boys talk about Invisible Men by Ken Quattro; there are new trailers for Halo and The Boys: Diabolical; they have some news talk about how terrible Judgment Day could be and how terrible Roland Emmerich actually is; they play a round of Alright This Might Be Stupid; there are the issues: X Lives of Wolverine #2, Sabretooth #1, and X-Cellent #1; and of course room for a good Plug Me, Daddy. It's almost like they've tried conversation before!

The boys give you the regular deal: news, comics, and love. The issues are X Deaths of Wolverine #1, Marauders Annual #1, X-Men #7, Thor #21, and Black Panther #3. Khelan wraps us up with some pillow talk.

The boys breakdown the trailer for the new Moon Knight show coming to Disney+; they go through the big news about a 90s era Krakoa, how the Justice League will die and for how long, and multiple Captains America; they've got issues, including: X Lives of Wolverine #1, Death of Doctor Strange: Black Knight/X-Men #1, and Devil’s Reign: X-Men #1. If you were worried about whether or not they would talk about jelly beans, don't.

The boys close the 2022 X-Men Vote (you better have voted for M, Surge, Bling, Gorgon, or Gentle!), create some X-teams, wrap up Marauders with #27, and get into some rapid fire Clarke's got news. Want to hear Ryan make strange noises with his orifices and appendages? You'll have to listen to our Plug Me Daddy to know which ones!
