Jason Mays has coached basketball for more than two decades, but only recently as a high school coach, he's obsessed with learning as much as possible about winning at the prep level.

Coach Brad Stamps is the Head Boys’ Varsity Coach at his alma mater, Fayetteville High School in Arkansas. Brad’s first job was coaching 8th grade basketball at Woodland Junior High where he worked alongside his mentor and former Fayetteville High School Head Coach Kyle Adams. Coach Stamps later became the head coach at Shiloh Christian where he took a program that had won only one game the year before he arrived and turned it into a 28 game winner and state semifinalist in his final season. Brad also served as the head coach at Springdale High School where he won two conference championships in 6 years and led the team to a state runner-up finish in his fifth year.

Stamps has also had several stints as an assistant coach and brings a unique perspective regarding the relationships, responsibilities, and skill sets needed to succeed as both a head coach and an assistant. Throughout his entire career Brad has built relationships with his players and fellow coaches that have enabled him to have tremendous success. Coach Stamps’ basketball journey has brought him full circle back to Fayetteville High School where he took over this past season when his mentor Kyle Adams retired.

In this episode Brad shares his personal growth plan, how it has impacted his life, and the amazing response he has been getting from coaches at all levels of the game.

Mark Cascio is the Boys’ Head Varsity Coach at Catholic High School in Baton Rogue, Louisiana. As a head coach, Mark’s teams have won seven district titles, appeared in five final fours, and captured a state championship in 2012. Coach Cascio was a head coach at the age of 21 and is the youngest coach to capture a state title in Louisiana at the age of 26.

Mark started Courtside Consulting in 2019 to continue fostering his love of the game by sharing with colleagues in the coaching profession. Cascio partners with coaches to provide professional advice, first class resources, and a system to improve, refine and apply new concepts in any phase of the game. His uptempo style of offense blends concepts to create pace, spacing, shooting, and attacking. This style of play allows players freedom to use their individual skills to create plays for themselves or their teammates in a fun, fast paced system. Korey Harris is currently an assistant basketball coach for the Chinese Basketball Association's Beijing Royal Fighters under their head coach, former NBA All-Star Stephon Marbury.

Korey went to China in August of 2018 and was hired by Marbury to coach with the Royal Fighters in September of 2019.

Korey Harris has spent over 9 years under the mentorship of Ganon Baker. Korey is a certified instructor and camp clinician under Ganon Baker Basketball, and has experience teaching at numerous national skill academies, coaching clinics, team camps, pro training camps, and clinics.

Korey played college basketball on the JUCO, NCCAA, and NCAA levels and credits his development as a player to the same lessons he teaches on a daily basis to his clients. Korey finished his college career as a 2nd Team NCCAA All-American, 1st Team All-Region, and 1st-Team All-Conference Selection. He tied the Trinity Bible College school record for most assists in a game (13), helped lead the school to its first ACCA National Championship appearance, and its first season with an undefeated home record in school history.

Wes Miller finished his ninth season as the UNCG men’s basketball coach in 2019-20 after taking over the program in 2011 on an interim basis. Miller has spent the last nine years building a championship-mentality throughout the UNCG program and has laid the groundwork for future success.

The Spartans secured their fourth straight 20-plus win season in 2019-20, finishing 23-9. Miller, then an assistant, took control of the program Dec. 13, 2011 with the Spartans sitting at 2-8 and led them through one of the biggest turnarounds in program history. The Spartans lost their first six games under Miller to fall to 2-14 on the season but the program made a 180-degree turnaround, posting an 11-5 record down the stretch. Miller, who was the youngest head coach in NCAA Division I at the time of his hire, made the removal of the interim tag an easy decision as he was named the Southern Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Spartans to the SoCon North Division title at the end of the 2011-12 season.

Prior to joining the Spartans Miller previously spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Elon and High Point.

In three seasons as a player at North Carolina under head coach and mentor Roy Williams, Miller helped the Tar Heels to the national championship in 2005, two Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season championships and one ACC Tournament title. A fan favorite at UNC, Miller authored a book entitled The Road to Blue Heaven, which was published as a diary of his experiences as a North Carolina basketball player.

After graduating, Miller played one season of professional basketball for the London Capitals of the British Basketball League, where he averaged 19.6 points per game to rank eighth in the league.
