One of the greatest things we can ever experience is seeing God at work in the lives of those in the Church. But to truly see that, we must be actively engaged in the life of the church ourselves. Are you immersed in the church? Join us this week in 2 Corinthians 7, as we reflect on Paul’s walk with the church in Corinth. Discover what it means to be deeply connected to the church, to have the courage to confront in love, and to embrace true repentance from the sin that grieves the Lord.
When we accept Christ as our saviour, our hearts become a temple for the Living God. But what are we allowing in that temple? As we continue our series in 2 Corinthians, we look in chapter 6 that encourages us to cleanse that temple of anything that grieves the Holy Spirit. We are reminded that we become like those that we surround ourselves with—but as God’s people, we are called to live set apart from the world and pursue deeper intimacy with the Lord. With a fear of the Lord, let’s examine our lives and remove anything that does not belong in the temple.
To truly serve Christ is to step into a life of struggle, burden, and spiritual battle. Yet this calling is not only marked by hardship—it is also filled with immense privilege, supernatural joy, and unmatched purpose—one of the great paradoxes of the Christian life. It can be mysterious, sometimes perplexing, yet incredibly powerful. Join us in 2 Corinthians 6 as we explore how God works through trials and hardship to accomplish His purposes and display His glory.
The Great Exchange—Jesus’ life for our salvation. Because of His great love for us, we have been given freedom from sin and death. In 2 Corinthians 5 and 6, we look at what was required to make this incredible exchange possible: Jesus becoming the perfect and sinless sacrifice on our behalf. Through his sacrifice, we receive justification, redemption, and reconciliation with Christ. When we truly grasp the depth of what has been done on our behalf, how can we remain unchanged? This exchange calls us to respond!
This Sunday we looked at 2 Corinthians 5 and considered this question: What does it mean to be a new creation? There are so many things in this world that shape our success or status, but only Christ makes us new and provides eternal life. In Christ we are given a new life, a new vision, we’ve been entrusted with a new ministry, and we are now Christ's ambassadors. Join us to behold the power of the gospel that makes all things new!
What is the motivation behind your life? What you say, how you act, what you pursue and prioritize? This week in 2 Corinthians 5, we are reminded that our motives will drive our mission. The apostle Paul reveals what moved him: the fear of the Lord, integrity of heart, the love of Christ, and the call to no longer live for oneself. We are called to mimic Paul, whose life was not driven by outward approval, but by eternal perspective. Join us as we consider what truly motivates our hearts—and how the love of Jesus transforms our lives and purpose.
This weekend, Daniel Henderson joined us to teach how we can live a life that won’t be shaken! In Psalm 15, we encounter a question, an answer, and a promise: a question about intimacy with the Lord, the answer of integrity in our lives, and the promise of being immovable in Christ. Only He can cultivate integrity in us—personal, relational, and financial—and only He can give us the promise of a life that is truly never shaken.
We will experience deep groaning in this broken world. In 2 Corinthians 5, we are reminded that our bodies are temporary tents, but a glorious, permanent dwelling awaits us. This future hope, must reshape how we live our present lives. Paul shows us that fixing our eyes on what is to come gives us real hope in suffering, courage in uncertainty, and purpose in how we live today. Join us as we learn what it means to walk by faith and aim to please Him until the day faith becomes sight.
