Hey everyone, today I discuss how we’ve learned how to land more and more corporate and SMERF group business in the hotel sales game. Lots of amazing insights you won’t want to miss.

Let’s talk about dealing with ownership for a second. The biggest thing they’re looking for from you as a sales manager are results. The best way to wow them is to show them (in depth) the analytics behind your efforts. It’s important to show them month over month and year over year what’s going on from a sales and marketing standpoint compared to the general hotel numbers. If you can show them what you’re bringing in compared to how much the hotel revenue has increased you’ll become their favorite person. Tracking all of these number will also make your 10x more productive. I often see sales managers doing things the hard way. They haven’t quite figured out the secret to selling.
