Ithan struggles with purpose while the arrival of Pollux and Baxian sends Hunt into a tailspin. Though Bryce comes to assist with his release after Hunt and Pollux trade blows, she begs Hunt to not make the same mistake again in front of Celestina. Their evening is disrupted by Tharion, whose investigation has unearthed a connection between Sofie Renast and Danika Fendyr, and reveals his search for Emile. Despite Hunt’s warnings, Bryce is eager to find Emile and keep the boy safe, and begins her own line of questioning about Danika’s connection to Ophion and the rebel cause.
