As the internet and social media become increasingly more prevalent and the adoption of the metaverse or Virtual Reality becomes more common so does an increasing threat. Recently we have had an overwhelming amount of reports of individuals utilizing my photos for nefarious purposes (catfishing). One of the most recent reports landed with a call with a detective who traced the money to being received by organizations overseas that have ties to terrorism.
