Jemma started her podcast at 21, recording episodes on her phone in the back of her Subaru after a breakup, with no audience and no expectation that it would turn into anything.
Fast forward, and The Psychology of Your Twenties has reached over 200+ MILLION downloads and landed one of the first podcast deals with Netflix.
I wanted to sit down and chat with Jemma because not only has she built an incredible community around her show, but she’s operating at a level most podcasters don’t even realise is possible .. and it all started from following something she was passionate about.

We’ve landed podcasts on the charts with 300 downloads.
Not 300,000 … just 300.
And if you’ve been posting consistently, adding CTAs, doing all the ‘growth hacks’ that the experts have been recommending but you’re still stuck. It’s not you. It’s the algorithm.
Spotify, Youtube and Apple are all fighting for attention right now and they will reward and promote your content IF you optimise for these specific metrics.
