Kassidi Jones is a sixth-year Ph.D. candidate in African American Studies and English at Yale. Her dissertation explores nineteenth-century ecopoetics, focusing on pleasure as an experience central to the relationships between Black folks and nonhuman members of their environments. She shares some of that research through content creation for @gingers_naps on Instagram. She currently resides in the Hartford area with her dog, Ginger.
