1. Be willing to make a fool of yourself — then you can take real action.

2. Do what is true to you — don’t make decisions based on getting people’s approval, get your own approval.

3. Have boundaries — If you don’t like someone’s company then don’t spend time with them.

4. Manage your body language — look people in the eye, straighten your posture, be certain in what you say.

5. Develop self-trust with your self-talk — “I can do this”, “I am capable”, “I will try my best”.

6. Don’t promise and not deliver — only promise, to others and yourself what you are willing to act on.

7. Do the right thing — self-confidence is easy when you are honourable.

8. Practice a lot — being bold is a skill, don’t expect to get better without practicing.
