Welcome to episode #46. Check out www.waypatoday.com
In this episode I unveil how I redesigned my website and made it more visually appealing, easier to navigate, and how much more of my "digital footprint" is now available in one place!
I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but for about 8 months I did NOTHING to update my website. That means I didn't add even one new blog post, no tweaks, no SEO boosting techniques...NOTHING! And the shocking thing is I still got consistent traffic to the website each month. In fact my traffic numbers INCREASED each month while I was doing nothing to improve/update my website! I'd call that a FAIL!
But what I learned is that this example/experience just reinforced for me that we do NOT have to get things perfect! Simply move forward. And baby steps still move you forward. It's OK to just get a shell of something up online and then return to it when you can and/or are ready and improve it!
Why did avoid my website for so many months? Good question. For starters I lacked the knowledge of how to post effective articles and how to tweak them to improve my rankings in search engines. Previously, I relied on someone else to do this for me. But now I know how to do it myself. If I can learn it, then so can you!
When I started, less than a year ago, I knew NOTHING about websites. So if I can learn this stuff, so can you. And it's just like anything else in life...it's easy WHEN you KNOW how!

I'm not a financial advisor. This podcast is for education/entertainment purposes only. You will need to do your own research and accept responsibility for the results of any money you choose to invest. I love using Schwab.com to buy/sell stocks/ETF's/closed end funds/options. Schwab has a very user friendly app/website and their customer service is excellent. I can easily get to speak to a human being whenever I have questions.
